Role Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Systems Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations environment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet client needs.
The successful candidate will have exposure to systems administration and prior hands-on experience configuring, administering, supporting, and maintaining systems. This role includes setting up development and test environments, managing user accounts, maintaining hybrid Exchange environments, and managing domains.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Act as a System Administrator for Microsoft 365 environments, including Azure AD, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Intune, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Maintain on-premises and cloud-based virtual environments for development and test environments (SharePoint, Azure DevOps Server, Kubernetes).
Maintain hybrid Microsoft Exchange and ADFS servers, firewalls, routers, and VPNs.
Develop and implement customizations, extensions, and integrations using Power Platform, Power Automate, Power Apps, and other relevant tools.
Perform system configuration, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure quality and performance of developed solutions.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Stay current with the latest technologies, best practices, and trends in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related technologies.
Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies.
Support deployment and post-implementation activities, including user training and documentation.
Set up development and test environments in Azure.
Perform regular backup operations and implement processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
Conduct hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with standards, policies, and configuration guidelines; support asset management operations.
Implement and promote standard operating procedures and schedules.
Follow established IT policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate or bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 4 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Proficiency in Dynamics 365 customization and development tools, including Dynamics 365 SDK, Power Platform, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Azure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Dual Write mapping and configuration between Dynamics 365 Project Operations and Finance & Operations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex Dynamics 365 issues.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (MB-200, MB-400, MB-500) or equivalent are a plus.
4 years of hands-on experience in system administration in Windows Server environments.
4 years of experience in network administration (firewalls, routers, VPNs).
4 years of experience performing technical support and system administration in Microsoft 365/Azure environments.
Solid understanding of Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Exchange, and Active Directory.
Prior experience with scripting and automation tools.
Working knowledge of virtualization (Hypervisor or equivalent).
Ability to deploy and integrate new applications and learn new applications across various operating systems for testing and deployment.
Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
Strong understanding of best practices in IT operations, including security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery.
Must have strong communication skills and the ability to clearly explain technical issues.
Preferred
Experience and knowledge of setting up environments SharePoint on-line and on-prem environments.
Knowledge of CMMC framework.
