Purpose
This role manages various production activities like assembly, material forming or shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, etc. to ensure production excellence and to meet established specifications, schedules, volume, cost, wastage targets, quality standards and service-level agreements.
Key Missions
Ensures completion of all work within service-level agreements Operates and maintains production equipment through identifying and performing first line diagnostics and complying with operating procedures Contributes actively to the business performance of production Highlights any opportunities for improvement and participates in process improvement teams Supports to production integrated into the flow (quality control, controls and preparation of raw materials, supply management, etc.) or to machine operation, etc. Applies security, quality and environmental standards, alerts in the event of an anomaly, etc.Faces problems that are typical of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation Works under moderate supervision

Strong communication skills regarding machine problems and quality requirements
Ability to start and stop equipment and identify basic mechanical issues & adjust machine setups (Fillers, cappers, labelers, case packers, case erectors, palletizers)
Follow all safety requirements including using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment - PPE (safety glasses, required footwear, hearing protection, hand protection, correct lifting methods, etc.)
Support all changeover requirements of commodity products (changing caps, line clearance, assisting mechanics with changeovers)
Make tank switches and understand & execute the valve change process

Maintain time and production records.
Maintain quality standards.
Conduct basic troubleshooting on the assigned equipment and perform minor equipment adjustments and changeovers.
Follow Safety /GMP guidelines.
Comply with PPE, Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Standards, and follow all plant policies and procedures.
1-2 years' experience as a Machine operator in the packaging industry.
Production knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for effective manufacturing preferred.
Must be able to verbally communicate, read and write in English.
Basic mathematics skills required.

Strong communication skills regarding machine problems and quality requirements

Follow all safety requirements including using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment - PPE (safety glasses, required footwear, hearing protection, hand protection, correct lifting methods, etc.)

Your Role at KIK
Join our team as an experienced Machine Operator managing production equipment including fillers, case packers, cappers, case sealers, palletizers and labelers. As a Heavy Machine Operator, you will work behind the wheel operating a variety of heavy machinery and equipment, following all safety guidelines and job specifications to ensure projects are completed both safely and on time.
