Ensure production performance levels are met and standards are being followed in accordance with established procedures. Provide an environment of continuous improvement to production processes that result in advances in safety, quality, delivery, productivity and reduced costs. Support production supervisors in continual improvement by acting as a resource in applying and ultimately teaching problem solving skills and meeting facilitation skills by using established management control and production communication tools. Key Missions * Understand, embrace and disseminate the plant's direction and goals in World Class Manufacturing through the application of the lean tools such as 5S, TPM, Six Sigma and Setup Reduction. * Manages the daily production and delivery operations of the Plant personally or through subordinate supervisors. * Schedules, plans and controls production activities, including the supervision of Plant Supervisors and production employees and drivers, in order to ensure continuous and efficient production in appropriate quantity and quality * Collect and report to the production lines the current status of the lines in regards to customer satisfaction, company objectives or goals, process quality data and equipment reliability. * Collaborate with Director of Operations on production goal setting. * Coordinate with the Planning, Engineering, and Maintenance Departments to schedule machinery maintenance to keep the Smart Card Department operates reliably and efficiently. * Investigate customer complaints and make recommendation regarding corrective actions to be implemented while limiting reoccurrences. * Assists in the hiring, training, evaluating and development as well as handling disciplinary actions as indicated, personally or through Plant Supervisors * Act as a resource and trainer in the application of various problem solving, root cause analysis and corrective action skills. * Fosters positive working relationships, and responds proactively to employee concerns or problems * Oversees compliance and enforces adherence to health and safety and other Company and/or regulatory programs * Investigates, and/or oversees the investigation of work related incidents, accidents and injuries * Ensures appropriate documentation and notifications are prepared and all protocols are followed. Provide feedback on performance. * Submit all required daily/weekly/monthly reports and documents (JSA, receipts, inspections, audits, other documents as assigned). * Approve all daily time sheets for the crew. * Coordinate management tasks with the Construction Manager. * Ensure team members follow safety requirements and plans, work safely, and properly wear PPE. * Verify all materials needed to complete the work are at the job site when needed, identify missing materials, work with CM's to get any missing materials needed to complete assigned tasks efficiently. * Inventory job site materials at the beginning and end of each project. * Ensure truck, trailer, tools, and equipment are inspected and used properly, kept organized and in working condition. * Ensure the job site is clean and safe while working each day onsite, and when the job is completed * Perform crew and team member duties when needed. * Other duties as assigned. Purpose Perform machine operator responsibilities associated with requirements to meet production daily goals to achieve customer request dates. Shift: 11:00pm - 7:30am Key Missions * Follow and comply with all OSHA and company safety procedures * Adhere to the Idemia Quality Policy * Contributes to team success by meeting target volumes monthly * Must understand parts per hour or pieces per hour and demonstrate ability to count * Ability to set up, operate and produce product within ISO specifications while meeting machine expectations provided by the Production Supervisor * Cross-training within the department is a must to create flexibility within the teams as described by the Production Supervisor * Must possess the ability to use various precision equipment, individual must have some experience with computers; attention to detail is imperative, along with the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment * Must be willing to work overtime during the week and weekends as business needs meet market demands * Maintain 5S activities for machines/area operated to include TPM tasks Profile & Other Information * High school diploma or GED * Basic math skills * Ability to work in a team based environment * 1-2 years working in a manufacturing By choosing to work at IDEMIA, you will join a unique tech company, offering a wide range of growth opportunities.
