Job Description
Overview
PeopleSoft Financials Tester will provide leadership and technical guidance to test teams and has accountability across multiple functions as it pertains to the newly created Verizon Network Quick Bid tool. Creates test deliverables (for example, strategies, plans and test cases) and performs hands-on testing for internally developed or external purchased products. Types of testing may include system, integration, regression and end-to-end testing. Testing Specialists deploy or execute job streams for creating test beds as appropriate, design test scenarios, author test scripts, execute tests and track defects to certify that applications meet the approved system requirements. Testing Specialists collaborate with other IT staff as appropriate, to review and understand system requirements and design, review test strategy and design, identify resolution for defects identified during testing, and also to analyze and make specific recommendations on usability/functionality improvements that can be integrated into business processes.
Description
• Participate in technical design discussions and planning meetings.

* Strong leadership in the month-end close process, including complex multi-entity transactions, journal entries, account reconciliations, and sub-ledger processing while applying GAAP and IFRS accounting to effectively report accurate Fixed Asset and related GL balances

* Continuously reviews documents and releases certain project costs to match related revenue cycle accounting for the same site in partnership with related financial forecasting and construction cost-tracking
* Manages ERP accounting system sub-ledgers to ensure proper flow from sub-ledger to general ledger and problem-solves any discrepancies within the system, process, or multiple-entity reconciliations on a timely basis
* Creates and provide reporting to department and global management on the significant transactions during the period
* Assist with the maintenance of effective internal controls over fixed asset accounting processes, ensuring compliance with SOX requirements, and facilitating audit requests
* Continual reconciliation with the data center construction group on current and future activity to ensure all source information is detail-reviewed for proper accounting treatment, including accruals of construction spend and allocations of cost at the project and site level
* Extracts data from financial reports to conduct financial and statistical analysis and identifies financial discrepancies and recommends appropriate solutions.
* Conducts analysis of Month-End financials to ensure accuracy of the company, GL account and location
* Leads the team in preparation of preliminary flux review of financials before month-end close
* Actively participates in accounting system UAT-user acceptance testing, automation, and migration of all fixed-asset related processes and balances
* Communicates with other departments in the education and enforcement of accounting policies and/or procedures and well as providing information and support to other departments as necessary.

Working as a Field Application Engineer, you will be working directly with customers as a technical account owner to drive revenue through the adoption of QNX software and services as part of the North American Sales team. In this role, you will:

You will have:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage a team of schedulers (internal and contracted employees) that will carry out all functions of the scheduling team. This includes setting goals and aligning on deliverables of each team member to achieve the strategic objectives for the organization.
* Develop schedule program requirements to be implemented across all data center projects. * Produce management level reports/indicators to demonstrate schedule performance across the portfolio of projects.
* Develop E2E internal schedule to enable future projects and support the global governance efforts.
* Effectively implement Last Planner/ Pull Planning requirements into the scheduling requirements.
* Review GC project schedules to identify potential concerns/issues with a focus on mitigation. This would include a review of the GC schedule to validate relationships, schedule logic, milestones, and constraints to determine the health of the project schedule.
* Collaborate with project teams to develop early project schedules using data driven durations.
* Partner closely with NTT GDCA preconstruction, design, and project management to plan the project and maintain control through the project life cycle.
