**Relationships:** 1) Reports administratively to the Director of Finance, Accounting and Business Support. 2) Supervises directly or indirectly all members of the accounting department. 3) Provides functional guidance to Executive Committee and department heads.
**Duties and responsibilities:**
+ Collaborate with the Director of Finance as required and advise department heads on the interpretation and analysis of financial data, recommending courses of action to maximize hotel profitability.
+ Assist in directing and administering the hotel's financial operations including, but not limited to, asset protection, financial reporting, systems management, hotel-wide budget and forecasting, team management, and meeting participation and facilitation
+ Assist with the preparation and review budgets, forecasts/projections, and reporting for corporate and ownership as needed.
+ Conduct month end closings and review financial statements with Director of Finance and leadership team.
+ Assist and participate in taking of inventories on a bi-annual basis.
+ Conduct weekly labor review meetings with the property leadership team and drive desired results.
+ Coordinate with BSC to ensure all necessary information is compiled, reviewed, and approved.
+ Monitor and maintain adequate internal control over revenues, expenses, assets, and liabilities of the hotel (customer billing, paycheck distribution, payroll and bank audits, contract review, compliance, etc.) in accordance with current accounting policies, and procedures. Ensure compliance is maintained with company policies, laws, rules, and regulations.
+ Collaborate with the Director of Finance on findings from CSA and internal audit reviews and oversee the resolution of findings.
+ Oversee and supervise property Accounts Payable, Payroll, and General Accounting functions, Accounting Manager, ensuring synergy with BSC.
+ Collaborates closely with Credit Manager, providing ongoing liaison and operational support.
+ Coach and develop team members; hire, assesses, discipline, and document performance. Act as advisor to staff to help meet established schedules and/or resolve technical or operational problems.
+ Orients property managers to the accounting function and coaches to effectively manage their department's financial performance.
+ Perform or assist in the performance of balance sheet and bank reconciliations, with Accounting Manager. Ensure that appropriate documentation is provided and reconciling items are resolved
+ Other tasks/projects as assigned.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
+ Five (5) or more years of experience in a similar role.
+ In-depth knowledge of GAAP and the Uniform Standard of Accounts for the Lodging Industry.
+ Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
+ Experience with PeopleSoft ERP, Opera, Micros, and Essbase is highly desired.
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
+ Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
+ Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills that build trust and instill confidence in order to motivate and influence others.
+ Ability to take the initiative to identify, prioritize and implement all elements required for the team to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with core strategic goals.

The Facilities Technician will oversee facilities operations across a local region, providing leadership and guidance in managing preventative maintenance, repair services, and capital projects for Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurants. Responsible for completing PM's for HVAC, refrigeration, cooking equipment, plumbing, and electrical, as well as handyman repairs and overall building maintenance. They will be the restaurant teams first point of contact and will work with the corresponding Facilities Manager to escalate issues.
What You'll Do:
* Assisting the Facilities Manager by supervising facility aspects of restaurant management at the market level
* Performing facility maintenance and repair through daily site visits and analysis of restaurants
* Formulating preventative maintenance schedules for the safe, efficient, and effective operation of restaurant facilities, including but not limited to cooking equipment, HVAC systems, sinks, plumbing, electrical circuits, and refrigeration units
* Carrying out set procedures to be followed in the event facilities cease functioning, function improperly, or present a threat to the health and safety of employees or customers
* Training managers, crew, and other restaurant staff on how to manage, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair restaurant facilities; assessing the need for additional training on an individual, as needed basis
* Guiding managers, crew, and other restaurant staff are correctly and consistently following facility maintenance practices and procedures
* Conducting detailed facility maintenance and repair seminars on an individual basis or in a group setting
* Providing the Operations Team and Regional Facility Manager with comprehensive maintenance visit recaps detailing restaurant strengths and areas of opportunity, as related to facilities
* Identifying specific issues which contribute to higher R&M costs or capital reinvestment costs and communicating these issues to the Operation and Facilities Teams.
* Providing guidance to restaurants on how to maintain and update facility records
* Performing equipment and building repairs on a regular basis (e.g., in the case of an emergency or during routine scheduled site visit)
* Performing new store turnover, 90 day and one-year walks/punches with Contractor and Operations Team for all new restaurants
* Serving as liaison between restaurants, landlords, contractors, and vendors when needed to repair facilities
* Assisting Operations Team to investigate, analyze, and determine whether to escalate facilities issues to the Regional Facilities Manager
* Serving as the facilities representative at operations management meetings and is responsible for communicating information back to the Facilities team
* Assisting with communicating contractor deficiencies on re-investment or repair projects

What You'll Need:
* Must represent Cooper's Hawk values and be a strong team leader.

**Key Skills & Experiences**

+ Flexible - night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job.
