General Summary
Under direct supervision of the Pipefitter Foreman, performs skilled worked in the Pipefitter and welding trades.
Required Qualifications
1. Certificate of completion of apprenticeship as a Pipefitter under a registered Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training program
OR
Experience sufficient to qualify as a journeyman Pipefitter, with a minimum of 5 years of actual work in the trade, which may have included apprenticeship and/or applicable vocational training. The trade for this purpose shall include work normally performed by Pipefitters, Pipefitter Welders, Refrigeration Mechanics, temperature Control Mechanics, Oil Burner Mechanics, and Leadburners.
2. Valid driver's license.
3. A final candidate must complete a post-offer pre-employment physical exam. Employment is contingent on the successful result of the pre-employment physical.
Desired Qualifications
1. Journeyman Pipefitter and certified welder.
2. Ability to read 2" gauges on various equipment.
3. Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing. Communications required in person, by telephone, by email and over campus radio system.
4. Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions and written materials.
5. Possess mathematical skills to calculate material lists and pricing.
6. Knowledge sufficient in techniques and uses of various tools associated with Heating Plant duties.

Extra Help employees are only paid for hours worked and do not qualify for most benefits including health insurance and retirement, with Illinois State University. However, Extra Help employees are eligible to participate in the University's supplemental retirement savings plans (403b). Applicable retirement information is provided at the time of hire. There is no guarantee that working as Extra Help will lead to or secure permanent employment. In addition, extra help employees may only work up to 900 hours total during their employment.

Job Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
* Program Coordination and Development
* Coordinate the planning of educational activities for the program with collaboration from the 4-H Youth Development Educator or Specialist.
* Identifies critical priority needs and issues, with the assistance of other staff, to be addressed through Extension 4-H youth programs, including under-served youth audiences.
* Conduct evaluation of program activities and make appropriate changes or recommendation for continuation or discontinuation of the program.
* Provide leadership, as primary contact, to volunteers, 4-H members and their families in support of local 4-H Clubs and their activities.
* Provide leadership for the local Expansion and Review Committee. • Works with Unit staff, Extension volunteers, and Extension clientele to create and/or maintain administrative records including 4-HOnline and 4-H Fair Entry.
* Disseminate education information provided by Extension professionals.
* Maintain required records and data.
* Provides monthly reports to the County Extension Director.
* Volunteer Recruitment, Training & Development
* Recruit, screen and select adult 4-H volunteers.
* Orient volunteers to the philosophy of the 4-H programs, risk management, policies, procedures, and materials.
* Coordinate volunteer trainings related to program offerings and continuing educational opportunities.
* Maintain contact with volunteers on a regular basis through meetings and correspondence, including email and phone.

Comprised of more than 25 faculty and staff, the division also includes interns and student assistants.
The Associate Dean for Information Assets plays a strategic leadership role in managing the library's physical and digital collections to support the institution's research, teaching, and learning missions. The position ensures that collections and services are aligned with academic priorities, facilitates discovery and access of library materials, and supports digitization initiatives aimed at preserving and expanding access to unique and historical materials. The role also encompasses scholarly communication, including support for open access publishing and institutional repositories, and ensures that technical services workflows are efficient, innovative and responsive to evolving user needs. The AD will stay abreast of trends in scholarly communications and technical services within the library profession, particularly as they relate to supporting teaching and research in higher education. As an active member of the Library Administrative team, the AD will support and implement library-wide initiatives and projects.

1. A master's degree in library and/or information science from a program accredited by the American Library Association or from a program recognized by the American Library Association as an international equivalent.

Operating/Maintenance Engineer - Relief Operator Department: Facilities Management - Utilities Reports to: Utilities Supervisor Appointment: Full-Time; 40 hours per week Pay Rate: Maintenance Engineer - $37.88 Operating Engineer - $39.14 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate, maintain and repair heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems including, but not limited to: boilers, pumps, dampers, piping, chillers, compressors, valves, controls, coils, air handling equipment, etc. and perform other related duties as assigned.
The Relief Operator generally performs the duties of a Maintenance Engineer when not performing the duties of the Relief Operator. The Relief Operator covers Operator vacancies with a duration of 40 hours or greater and is compensated at the Operating Engineer rate while performing Relief Operator duties.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have minimum of five (5) years of experience in the repair of systems and system components as listed above. Preference will be given to candidates possessing a valid boiler license and refrigerant certificate. Commercial refrigeration experience will be preferred. The ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturer's technical literature pertaining to the operation, maintenance and repair of equipment is necessary. Familiarity with various computer programs and systems such as G-mail, Kronos timekeeping system, School Dude, Building Automation (WebControl), and Microsoft Office. Must possess valid driver's license and have good safety, attendance and past work records. Strong comprehensive skills. If not presently, must become and remain a member of Local 399, International Union of Operating Engineers. There is a 90-day Bradley University probationary period.

Appointment Information
Generally, this position will be a minimum of 9 months (within the academic calendar schedule) to provide adequate continuity. This position may last for a longer period of time by mutual consent of the incumbent and the Center and will be reviewed with option to renew contract on an annual basis.
This is an in-person (on campus) position, and the work hours will vary depending on need and candidate availability. Weekly schedule will be 1-3 days/week. Percent time may increase at a later date. Job Summary
MASAI mentors are peer leaders trained to assist first-time-in-college (FTIC) students who graduated from a Charter School Network or College Preparation program with their personal and academic transition from high school to Illinois State University (ISU).
Mentors are role models and advocates for a team of 4-5 mentees during the fall semester of a student's first year at ISU. Mentors play a pivotal role in orienting mentees to campus life, facilitating connections with essential resources, and igniting their path towards fostering community and achieving both personal and academic success.
MASAI Mentors will:
- Participate in comprehensive training sessions to gain valuable insights into MASAI's mentoring model, academic coaching and techniques, available campus resources, effective goal setting strategies, and fostering community development.
- Allocate 1 hour per week to conducting small group sessions to lead engaging discussion- and project-based activities with mentees and provide personalized support to aid their academic and personal transition to Illinois State University.
- Allocate 1 hour per week to log meeting notes and strategize for upcoming sessions that are tailored to the mentees' needs and goals.
-Maintain professional communication with mentees to address questions, provide referrals to appropriate campus resources, and share reminders about upcoming events.
- Organize and participate in occasional large group activities involving collaborating with fellow mentors to plan and execute large group events aimed at fostering a sense of community and facilitating connections among mentors and mentees.
- Engage in regular one-on-one sessions with designated ISU staff members to receive guidance, support, and assistance in troubleshooting any challenges encountered while mentoring.
