    We are seeking a dependable Detailer to work with sub assembly components on 3rd shift. Responsibilities Essential Functions: * Perform the required duties in accordance safety guidelines and lean principles by complying with all safety procedures and all company policies. * Obtain work orders. * Select parts required for the customer order. * Load and unload the parts to the washer or to the assembly table. * Assemble components in accordance with standard procedure and/or work order instructions. * Report shortages and defects in materials or equipment to direct supervisor. * Utilize various hand tools, specialty tools, lifting devices, and basic measuring equipment to complete assigned tasks. * Performs visual inspection of parts and reviews basic blueprints/diagrams to ensure components are being manufactured in accordance with the part specification. * Completes various types of paperwork related to production reporting. * Maintains work areas by cleaning and organizing the space and equipment. * Actively participates in company-sponsored training programs. * Deals ethically with Parker's customers, suppliers, fellow associates and the general public. * Completes additional duties and projects as assigned. At a minimum, must be capable of welding in all positions with FCAW and SMAW processes. Must be willing and able to develop expertise with all arc welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, MCAW, FCAW, and SAW), and with all ‘families' of products in the Hobart Brothers portfolio. Must be familiar with common welding codes AWS, ASME, and standard industry practices (welding techniques, welding procedure specifications, pre- and post-heating requirements, etc.). Must be adaptable, and able to weld by following welding procedure requirements. Willingness to travel (5% of time) as needed for customer visits, field testing, VOCs, etc. Must learn to perform more specialized test methods and procedures.
