    The Customer Service Representative is responsible for representing StampTech by serving our customers. Requests and inquiries received via phone, email, fax, as well as direct contact from our sales force. This position performs proactive product expediting and data entry to ensure a timely and accurate understanding of customer transactions. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Relationship management of assigned key accounts. Service customers seeking assistance with multiple issues such as returns, replacements, refunds, delivery status and backorder inquiries, problem resolution, and any other issues that may arise from the order fulfillment process. Handle requests for expedites, exceptions, substitutions, allocations orders, and/or special problems. Evaluate, monitor, and escalate any potential production outages that may impact customers to Management with recommendations. Interact and coordinate with various departments to ensure on-time deliveries to customers. Perform order entry by interpreting customer EDI releases and cums. Analyze inventory to determine availability of SKUs based on customer demand. Work with Accounting to resolve customer credit/pricing issues. Act as liaison with customer to set up expedites and make sure expedite is coded properly. Back-up Shipping office - sending ASNS, print shippers and create pick lists. General filing and scanning. Cross-training - all team members are trained on customer-specific guidelines and procedures. Record customer complaints returns and non-conforming parts (return goods authorization procedures). Portals and Automotive systems monitored and checked as required by customers. All other duties as assigned by Manager. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required: High School or GED is required. 3+ years manufacturing customer service experience - automotive preferred. Must have strong communication skills and present a positive, professional image of ITW both internally and externally. High sense of urgency for customer satisfaction. Requires skill in defusing agitated situations. Ability to effectively present pricing information, manufacturing lead-time changes and other related data to customers. Must be capable of meeting deadlines based on customer demand. Must be capable of perform all functions with minimal errors and omissions. Highly proficient in MS Office suite of products Future3/INFOR experience is a plus. Understands at basic level minimum the ASN process. Must be able to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines. Some weekends/afterhours required on a rotating basis is required. The team member is responsible for placing and or retrieving finished boxed product from the coolers, trailers and production floor. The finished boxed product is retrieved from the cooler, trailers and production floor with the use of a battery-powered Forklift. The team member will need to break down or stack up products (weights range from 5 to 80 pounds) on wooden pallets (weights range from 65 to 75 pounds) to form full or complete pallets. The empty pallets are stacked (10 high) in the work areas. When handling boxes of finished product the team member will remove boxes from a pallet and place it on other pallets to build a full pallet. Pallet height could vary from 8 inches to 7 feet tall. Must be willing and able: Grasping: There is a bilateral full-hand grip required to up stack/ down stack boxes of finished product onto pallets and the lifting of wooden pallets. A full hand grip of the dominant hand is required to operate the Forklift. Standing: The team member stands on the platform of the truck that is covered with a non-slip coating. When the team member is not operating the Forklift, he stands and walks on a cement floor. Lifting: The team member is required to lift wooden pallets and finished boxed product which weigh between 5 and 80 pounds. Bending: The team member is occasionally required to bend at the waist while retrieving wooden pallets and or up stacking/ down stacking finished boxed product. Force: Moderate force is required when performing this job. Work Duty: Heavy lifting and simultaneous use of both hands is required when performing this job. The temperature of the work area ranges from approximately 28 degrees to 32 degrees. Employees are encouraged to dress appropriately before they arrive at their workstation.
