    * Coordinates and schedules production in an efficient manner while attaining quality * Monitors and reacts to Statistical Process Control information, shuts down equipment when there are process problems and makes necessary corrections * Train new mixers * Schedules and performs routine preventative maintenance of equipment * Identifies, isolates, and corrects equipment malfunctions * Ability to accurately measure, weigh, and add chemical raw materials manually or automatically * Manufacture material according to batch cards and mixing work instructions using computer software * Perform routine batch quality checks and testing * Sanitizes/Cleans mixing equipment per work instructions at scheduled intervals * Monitors integrity of mixes and shuts down operation if out of compliance * Responsible for accurate and timely reporting of production, labor and scrap incurred during the shift * Assures that chemical mixers are trained in operations that pertain to the mixing area * Assures MRO parts are maintained at desired levels, ordering those items as needed * Promotes and follows all safety guidelines and procedures * Recommends safety improvements as needed * Performs various other duties as necessary. QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma/GED required * 3-4 years of batch mixing experience in hand cleaner or related industry * Must be computer literate * Must be certified to drive all types of lift trucks: low-lift, fork-lift, high-lift * Must be able to understand and carry out oral and/or written instructions.
