In 2010, he became the co-CEO of the IM Flash Technologies joint venture with Micron. In 2016, Esfarjani set the vision and strategy for Intel’s internal memory manufacturing. He led the Dalian fab conversion from chipset to memory in seven months and then construction of a fab expansion in 11 months. Esfarjani recently led the strategy in partnership with FSM for independent memory Technology Development operation and startup for Optane in the Fab11x Rio Rancho.  Esfarjani earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in industrial engineering and operations research from Purdue University.
