    Account Executives are integral members of our service teams, serving as strategic advisors to our key clients. Our Construction Practice is currently seeking a passionate insurance professional to join our Denver team. What You'll Do Supports and demonstrates IMA's core values Values and understands the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates Maintains overall responsibility of the entire renewal (policy review, setting the game plan, loss analysis, program design, data completeness within AMS, coverage & premium discrepancy issues, etc.) for all existing accounts Supports in winning new business and set up of new accounts Maintains intimate knowledge of clients' business operations, strategies, and needs throughout the year Kicks-off the client renewal process by creating the Game Plan and completing a coverage analysis (if applicable) and conducting thorough review of the policy and all relevant documents Prepares for and facilitates meetings with key IMA stakeholders and clients Crafts the marketing strategies, reviews submissions, and engages in negotiations with underwriters to determine the relevant content to include in proposals Pursues mastery of the craft through on-going education and awareness of industry trends, products, and services Develops and maintains carrier relationships Manages a book of business that is > $1.3 Million in revenue < 40% of book of business revenue is within the middle market, independent of additional Account Executive oversight 50% + book of business focused on large/complex accounts. Plays a lead role with large/complex accounts, based on primary industry levels 10% + of time is spent supporting producers in winning new business Identifies with client's priorities then creates a vision for their insurance program with alignment to their risk management goals, and understands client's business philosophy Structures a strong, long-term partnership with assigned clients Offers client team management/coaching for Level 2 Account Executives Offers internal team management/coaching for Level 2 Account Executives You Should Have Experience in insurance or related industry based on the assigned book of business Ability to think strategically based on client's priorities and marketplace cycle Strong communication skills both written and verbal Experience leading and developing people Ability to delegate and hold team & partners accountable Experience working within Applied Epic preferred Experience with MS Office products required (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel) Travel required (up to 40% based on client book of business) Skilled at understanding the client's entire business as it relates to insurance protection (matching to their aversion level of risk) as it relates to specific terms & conditions Strengthens IMA brand as subject matter expert (speaking at conferences, white papers, carrier relationships, etc.) Holds general insurance designation Holds formal specialty designation (ARM, CPCU, Industry specific designation, etc.) The anticipated posting timeline for this opportunity is 09/10/2025-11/13/2025. #LI-RH1 Salary Range$110,000-$160,000 USD Compensation & Benefits Being a part of IMA has its benefits.
