Dr. Lance Smith brings a rare combination of business and academic experience to his role as Imagine Software's CEO, with more than 25 years of direct involvement in trading and risk management practices, mathematical modeling, and system development. Before co-founding Imagine in 1993, he began his business career in 1986 as a Salomon Brothers vice president, gaining diverse business experience in mathematical modeling, proprietary trading strategies, structured products, and risk management methodologies. Dr. Smith holds a PhD in mathematics from Duke University, was awarded a postdoctoral research fellowship at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, and is a former assistant professor of mathematics at Columbia University. Dr. Smith sets Imagine's strategic direction, guides development of cutting-edge analytics, and lends his expertise to sales efforts.

As a co-founder of Imagine Software, David Miller oversees software development, system infrastructure, and quality assurance. David Miller has extensive experience in programming methodologies, computer extensibility, architecture, security, and managing large technology projects. David Miller was a key developer of equity derivatives trading systems at Sakura Global Capital.

Bruno Costa is a Chief Security Officer at Imagine Software and is based in New, York. He has worked as Associate Director - Risk Management Supervisor at UBS Group AG, Manager at Deloitte, and Senior Security Consultant at Vigilant. Bruno studied at PUC-Rio between 1994 and 1999.
