What Does An Imaging Specialist Do At General Dynamics Information Technology

* Manage a ticket queue on a daily basis and processing anywhere from 10
* tickets a day depending on workload
* Package IT equipment for shipment; while making sure it is secure and meets the needs of the customer
* Image laptops for distribution
* Handle customer escalations as requested
* Verify with the customer that the request(s) have been fulfilled and update the ticketing system to reflect the most up-to-date status of their request

What Does An Imaging Specialist Do At Catholic Health Initiatives

* Performs repair and maintenance primarily on general imaging equipment, such as X
* Ray units, Portable X-ray units, Fluoroscopy Systems, CR units, and Mammography units, Ultrasound systems, etc.
* Completes all necessary record keeping for work orders received and finished.
* Assists in the ordering of parts and supplies necessary for the most cost effective maintenance of medical imaging equipment.
* Provides on-call coverage on a rotating basis and other duties as assigned.
* Provides input to the Account Manager regarding new service opportunities within a location serviced by the Clinical Engineering Division and performs other duties as assigned.
* May also provide repair and maintenance of general biomedical equipment as secondary responsibility or as assigned

What Does An Imaging Specialist Do At Apex Systems

* Act as technical subject matter expert for all OS and workstation image technologies and issues.
* Act as technical subject matter expert for all software distribution related technologies including LANDesk.
* Provides daily administration functions for LANDesk.
* Work with the Desktop Manager to publish software packages.
* Follow deploy standards and ensure that those standards are being met.
* Troubleshoot difficult problems encountered with the software distribution and packaging tools and work with the internal software developers to provide comprehensive solutions to these complex problems.
* Work with the Desktop Manager to recommend, architect and implement any new automated software distribution initiatives.
* Design, document, support, and maintain the PC environment for all Remote Employees, including, but not limited to, the following: IOS, boot process, scripting, drivers, scheduled tasks, and local computer policy.
* Coordinate selection and configuration of standard and non-standard personal computer hardware.
* Develop, maintain and document image deployment scripts for the PC environment.

* Qualification Requirements Bachelor s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.

* Must have Windows 2008 and 2012 Server experience.
* Five years of experience delivering desktop images and demonstrated knowledge of service and application delivery.
* Must have prior experience and a solid understanding of application deployment tools to include SCCM and/or LANDesk and Ghost.
* Must have experience with vbscript or similar scripting language for automation purposes.
* Knowledge and understanding of both virtual (VMware) and physical environments.
* Working knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems and registry Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8.

* Performs incoming inspections of all medical equipment items entering the system including new, leased, loaned, rented, physician or patient owned.

* Job may require personnel to drive a hospital own vehicle to maintain offsite equipment.
* A copy of your driver's license will be kept for departmental competency records and updated annually.
* If a hospital vehicle is not available personal vehicles may be used in accordance with hospital policy.
* All mileage on personal vehicles will be reimbursed per hospital policy.
