POSITION SUMMARY: Performs routine work assisting the Kiln Systems Tech to regulate and control smooth operations of the plant. Uses constant visual checks to inform the operator of problems, and assisting in relinquishing problems under the supervision of the operator. Also, the attendant will perform Quality Control test to help ensure the quality of products being manufactured; and perform all other tasks not specifically indicated. Check water pumps and water flow for proper functioning. 3. Maintain and check spray compressors & N3 lances, baghouses, pollution control equipment, all feed chutes, rams, elevators, etc. 4. Must be able to operate any equipment as assigned (i.e. front-end loader, bobcat, and forklift) both safely and efficiently. 5. Conducts Quality Control test on a routine and as needed basis to ensure proper quality. 6. Keeps water pumped from all sumps in kiln department. 7. Cleans hopper area, bins, and conveyors, and unclogs and cleans up plug-ups. 8. Helps clean out material from under conveyors and catwalks. 9. Ensures that the different types of products are conveyed into the appropriate bins. 10. Checks kiln bearings and water flow through these bearings. 11. Maintains coal mill discharge and scrapes area clean. 12. Checks auxiliary engine for proper amounts of fuel, oil, etc. and ensures operational Condition. 13. Keeps belts and rollers on belt scale clean. 14. Perform related work and clean-up duties assigned. 15. Remains on shift until properly relieved by replacement. 16. Identify, analyze and review maintenance problems with management Submit and review backlog list with priorities to Production Department. Coordinate availability of manpower, parts, materials, equipment. Reporting Maintain records, charts, and indexes. Including but not limited to: MSHA records, Environmental records, and ISO records. Post weekly and monthly Key Performance Indicators and trends. Report on Performance versus goals. Close out work orders daily, inputting history and comments. POSITION SUMMARY: Performs routine work assisting the Kiln Systems Tech to regulate and control smooth operations of the plant. Uses constant visual checks to inform the operator of problems, and assisting in relinquishing problems under the supervision of the operator. Maintains coal mill discharge and scrapes area clean. 12. Checks auxiliary engine for proper amounts of fuel, oil, etc. and ensures operational Condition. 13. Keeps belts and rollers on belt scale clean. 14. Perform related work and clean-up duties assigned. 15. Remains on shift until properly relieved by replacement. 16. POSITION SUMMARY: The Divisional Process Engineer will direct, coordinate and exercise functional authority for planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of process engineering projects within area of responsibility. The Process Engineer will provide technical support to plant personnel on new and existing processes and will be a resource for information for the design and installation of all types of process equipment applicable to the lime and hydrate manufacturing processes. Process Engineer will lead the productivity function for the plant including technical aspects of process control, pyro-processing operations, efficiency, waste reduction and other areas as required. RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS: Provide technical assistance in solving equipment and process problems. Work with multifunctional improvement team - plants, divisional, and corporate as needed. Conduct process audits including heat and mass balance measurements and calculations to identify improvement opportunities. Conduct studies on raw materials and their processing to determine and evaluate potential improvements and impact on quality and efficiency. Understand and lead rigorous statistical analysis of process data. Work closely with all plant personnel to ensure instrumentation standards are current and implemented correctly using the best control strategies.
