The eDiscovery Project Manager plays a key role in ensuring high-quality service to clients and supporting our attorneys and paralegals. Administer, maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve application or database issues as needed. * Partner with case teams to optimize data hosting, reduce costs, and leverage early case assessment (ECA), data culling, artificial intelligence (AI), and advanced analytics techniques such as search term reports, email threading, categorization, and clustering. * Partner with the National Director of eDiscovery to track data hosting, vendor utilization, and client-related costs, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives. * Support and manage Relativity and Everlaw advanced analytics projects. Monitor workspace and vendor utilization to prevent waste, control costs, and ensure proper disposition of data. * Apply project management methodologies to eDiscovery matters, coordinating and tracking tasks from inception through completion, and maintaining documentation such as client data maps, custodian collection tracking, error logs, and reviewer metrics. * Collaborate with service providers and internal teams to ensure adherence to client- and industry-specific data collection, processing, production, and disposition requirements. * Communicate project updates to leadership, including the National Director of eDiscovery, Manager of Document Reviews, eDiscovery Project Managers, and case teams. * Research emerging eDiscovery technologies, best practices, and industry trends, and pursue certifications and training to maintain expertise and ensure the firm stays current with evolving technology. * Develop and deliver eDiscovery educational materials and training programs, and educate legal teams on eDiscovery workflows, tools, best practices, and evolving legal and technical requirements. Key Skills * Strong attention to detail with proven ability to maintain accurate project documentation, ensure quality control, and provide timely status updates. * Excellent time and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritize tasks, and adapt in a fast-paced agile environment. * In-depth experience with processing and hosting platforms, including Relativity, Everlaw. * Familiarity with AI concepts and eDiscovery tools, including UltraEdit, EnCase, FTK, and Cellebrite reporting, Trial Director, BrainSpace, MS Access, MS Excel, and Adobe Acrobat. * Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly translate technical processes for both technical and non-technical audiences. * Demonstrated initiative, ownership, and problem-solving ability, including escalation of issues and adaptability to unique projects and tight timelines. * Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work independently with minimal supervision, and collaborate effectively within a team environment. * Flexible and professional, with availability to work evenings and weekends as needed. Qualifications * Bachelors degree required. * Minimum of 57 years of project management experience within an Am Law litigation law firm and/or eDiscovery vendor environment, providing litigation support and project management services to attorneys and law firm clients. * Required experience with Relativity; preferred certifications include Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) and Relativity Analytics Specialist. * Strong knowledge of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and core eDiscovery concepts and technologies, including data security and alternative data sources such as Microsoft 365, Slack, and social media. * Experience with forensic data collection processes and analysis. * Experience with advanced analytics and technology-assisted review methodologies, including predictive coding, CAL, TAR, AL, prioritization review, and related analytic techniques. * Highly IT literate, with demonstrated experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and other database and data-handling technologies, including file transfer protocols (FTPs/SFTP) and text, audio, and video editors.
