The Production Manager (Hands-On / Shop Floor Role) reports directly to the SpeedPro Imaging studio owner and is a production-focused position, not a marketing or graphic design role. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in large-format print production, prepress, and operating production equipment.
This position is critical to the studio's profitability and success through fast turnaround times, high-quality output, and efficient use of materials to minimize waste. Applicants without large-format print production experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Ability to Commute:
Must be able to reliably commute to the SpeedPro Greater San Diego studio
Lead the printing and production of client orders from start to finish
Inspect customer files, provide digital proofs, and prepare graphics for production
Operate and maintain production equipment, including:
Large-format printers
CNC router cutter
Laminators
Graphtec cutters
Perform cutting, masking, and taping of printed and non-printed vinyl
Manage and oversee finishing processes for signage and graphics
Conduct inventory tracking and provide material requirements for procurement*
*The team can assist with ordering materials once a list is provided
Provide graphic design support when required (unless outsourced)
Complete smaller graphic installations as needed
Unload and unpack deliveries to the studio
Perform vehicle inspections, measurements, and site surveys
Pack, label, ship completed jobs, and make local deliveries
Utilize CoreBridge software for estimates and quotes
Qualifications & Skills
Proven hands-on experience in large-format print production (required)
Strong prepress experience using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop (file setup, bleed, scaling, color, print readiness)
Ability to independently operate production equipment, including large-format printers, laminators, CNC router cutters, and Graphtec cutters
Solid knowledge of materials used in the sign and graphics industry (vinyls, substrates, laminates, adhesives)
Understanding of shop safety procedures, protocols, and best practices
Ability to manage multiple production jobs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Clear communication skills and ability to work closely with the studio owner and production team
This role is not suited for candidates with backgrounds limited to marketing, branding, or digital-only graphic design.

* Analyze the academic history of the college curriculum, rules and regulations and determine eligibility for granting of degrees, vocational degrees and general education certifications, in compliance with established rules and regulations such as CSU Breadth and IGETC General Education Certification and Senate Bills in compliance with the Student Success and Support Program (i.e. SB1393, SB440 SB1440) based on knowledge and experience of records, transcripts and official documents.
* Evaluate and process academic data and transcripts into the degree audit system for counselors and students to develop individual Student Educational Plans.
* Process individual student transfer equivalencies and course to course into the degree audit system; process degrees, certificates and general education certifications into the degree audit system.
* Verify accreditation of other institutions from which credits were earned and determine level, content, unit value, unit conversions, transferability, and grading system of courses taken at other colleges; determine credit to be granted toward meeting specific requirements and process in the degree audit system; manually apply Military Credit determined by the Veterans Services department.
* Use analytical skills to research, articulate and certify California, out-of-state and private/independent college course work in compliance with California State University (GEBR) and the University of California (IGETC and TAG) baccalaureate general education requirements; post certification result into the student information system.
* Provide information and advice to students and counselors regarding course equivalents, alternatives and options available in qualifying for various degree or vocational programs or in determining other academic options; provide students with advice regarding requirements needed for degrees and vocational certificates in person, by telephone, or written correspondence.
* Analyze and interpret course descriptions; assist other departments by evaluating records for student eligibility, prerequisites and certification; explain program regulations, requirements and institutional policies to students, counselors and administrative personnel; evaluate and process petitions for course equivalency from counselors.
* Maintain degree audit system for on-line evaluation/advising system including historical files of college curriculum, articulation of coursework within the college, articulation of transfer college coursework and educational objective requirements.
* Process preliminary evaluation of nursing applications to determine eligibility for program entrance; evaluate for graduation and final certification for the Board of Nursing.

Job Summary:
The Staging Technician is responsible for preparing the finished prescriptions as well as other light warehouse duties.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Ensure all medication orders are scanned to tote in dispensing system and staged correctly for each delivery route
Monitor workflow and ensure consistent product movement from pharmacy to delivery dispensing system
Ensure all medication orders are neatly sorted and packed within delivery totes
Preparation of refrigerated product going out for delivery to ensure product stability
Prepare and stage delivery manifests and ancillary paperwork to correct delivery totes
Accuracy review of delivery totes and medications to ensure completeness prior to sealing totes for handing to delivery personnel
Prepare for next delivery route by setting up empty delivery totes and new delivery barcode labels applied
Preparation of STAT deliveries for timely departure with interaction with delivery personnel
Sorting returned signed delivery manifests and scanning into document imaging system
Assist in preparation of emergency drug kit deliveries including tracking and expiration monitoring
Ability to perform tasks under pressure and within a deadline driven environment
Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Other duties as assigned; Job duties may vary depending on business needs
