In this role, you will be. an individual contributor who has the primary responsibilities of assisting with the implementations of Business Systems and providing ongoing support in compliance with best practices in use of technology. ~40% of the time, you will be responsible for traveling to newly acquired sites (within the US) to assist with the implementation of Business Systems, such as the organizations ERP system (EFI Radius). You will be expected to develop and deliver training sessions for groups of 1-10 people at all levels of the organization. ~60% of the time, you will provide troubleshooting process and system support, either in person or remotely, for end-users attempting to perform business functions within the ERP system.

Essential Accountabilities:
* Gatekeeper of ERP access permissions and audit permissions bi-annually
* Assist and train the ERP system users on proper use of the system and established processes for handling issues
* Participate in implementation of best practices business process across all company locations
* Actively monitor system transactions at all Radius ERP company locations to ensure adherence to best practices and communicate out when there are exceptions

JPMorgan Chase & Co. implementation technician job description

The Technical Implementations Team works with clients for the setup and testing of TS products of a more technical nature. The team supports products such as Lockbox, ACH, CKO Check Print, SWIFT, PayConnexion, and PaySource. We provide specialized knowledge for file formatting, product capabilities, and testing plans. The team is also available for client consultations during RFP and pre-sales conversations. The Technical PM will lead the client through the technical project of setting up and/or testing inbound or outbound files. This includes providing guidance to clients on product capabilities, gathering and documenting requirements, analysis and expertise with various file formats (SWIFT MT, ISO XML, NACHA, EDI X12, flat files, etc.), file testing, explanation of test results, production migration, production verification, and handover to Service/Production Support. The Technical PM partners closely with the Implementation Consultant/Project Manager, Operations, and other internal partners to ensure successful project delivery and an excellent client experience. The individual will manage multiple deals/projects concurrently that may have competing priorities, resources, and timelines. This individual will be specifically allocated to support lockbox initially, with opportunity to support additional products in the future based on the incumbent's background and skills.
**Responsibilities:**

+ Conduct scoping meeting(s) with client to ensure product and technical requirements are understood and satisfied in accordance with the client's business and technical needs, as well as, the firm's capabilities

GCI's Technician will be working closely with engineering and project management offices to develop, construct, and deliver maintaining system wide oversight and network integrity within all plant systems and architecture, network, and business facilities, the turn up of all related communications equipment across Alaska and occasionally in the lower 48.

This Technician role is eligible for a $1,500 Hiring Bonus for new hires!

The successful candidate will receive: $750 paid in your first paycheck $750 paid 6 months after hire with continued employment.

Essential Duties:

+ Understanding of electronics and telephony equipment, field-based construction and implementation with technical applications supporting junior and senior technicians, engineers, project management to deploy network infrastructure and architecture including outside/inside plant applications.

+ Construction, design, and implementation of network facilities and delivery architecture in accordance with industry standards, best practices to maintain network integrity.

+ Industry standard implementation and installation, modification, testing, and turn-up procedures of video, voice, and data circuits and equipment, to include terrestrial, satellite, microwave, optical, hybrid fiber coax, and ethernet.

+ Support and install equipment racks, cabinets for central, remote, and field offices to include rack support pedestals, cable trays, bracing, optical enclosures and all relevant cabling infrastructure etc.

+ Analytical skills and demonstrated ability to accurately read, interpret/evaluate, apply/implement, update information from system maps, equipment readings, test parameters, construction and design work orders, associated engineering drawings and follow-up documentation.

+ Collaboration, modifications in coordination with Construction and Implementation Technicians III, Sr. and assigned GCI engineering staff or leadership across all departments .

Additional Job Requirements : This first level position within the telecommunications field and outside plant construction discipline that will support and learn from the company's certification, education, and senior technicians the basic understanding for routine implementation, preventative and corrective network maintenance, repairs to field and network facilities and providing video, voice, data, and wireless services at varying locations including customer's residential and/or business properties, field and central offices. Works under close supervision and work is reviewed by senior staff.

Network & Equipment Adds, Moves, and Changes

+ Basic knowledge of telecommunications network design, construction, implementation for new, existing, routine preventative or corrective maintenance, testing and repairs, construction management of facilities, optical plant, HFC plant, and related electronic equipment providing video, voice, and data services.

+ Senior technician support of installation and removal of service affecting equipment, cabling, and network infrastructure, test, and turn-up across urban and remote Alaska with occasional travel to the lower 48 states.

+ Implementation and installation of central office equipment racks and cabinets, rack support pedestals, cable trays, bracing, main distribution frames, fuse and power distribution panels, routers, switches.

+ Implementation and installation of customer premise equipment racks and cabinets, cabling, routers, switches, phones, and other telecommunications equipment.

+ Installs, identifies, and terminates under supervision various types of cabling and wiring including coax, ethernet, optical, waveguide, data, and power cables.

+ Understanding of antennas, antenna foundations, towers, waveguide, ice bridges, grounding system, fences, and HVAC units.

+ Knowledge of installation method, test, modify, and repair a wide range of central office, remote office and field office support equipment, including cabling, power distribution and grounding, framework, air handling controls, and alarm reporting systems.

+ Basic understanding of AC and DC power systems, grounding in a Central Office environment and an understanding of general safety regulations, desired.

+ Possess a basic knowledge of fiber-optics, coaxial and network cable, satellite, microwave

+ telecommunications and electronic installation procedures .

Years of Experience required to meet minimum qualifications: Minimum four (4) years' experience with a telecommunications or related field background including two (2) years of complex related experience.

Physical Requirements : High degree of balance, coordination and strength needed routinely in climbing poles, towers, ladders, etc. and avoiding obstacles. Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling to maneuver equipment/supplies of up to 70-pound loads occasionally, less weight more regularly. High degree of hand dexterity and eye/hand coordination to operate hand tools and to connect, separate, and twist multiple smaller items daily. Clarity of vision at every distance with good depth perception and ability to clearly distinguish colors routinely for driving and performing assigned tasks. Good hearing, capable of distinction between equipment signals and the human voice often amidst background noises, such as wind, rain and traffic.

Working Conditions : Subject to adverse weather and driving conditions. Work involves heights up to 40 feet on poles, ladders, buckets, or towers up to 250'. Work performed below overhead construction and in trenches to 10 feet in depth. Tasks performed around high-power electrical conductors and gas lines. Work areas can be cramped, dark, dusty, damp, wet, stuffy, sticky, smelly, hot and/or cold. May encounter unrestrained animals/pets.

Must be able and willing to work flexible hours including, but not limited to, overtime, on-call, and/or additional time on weekends, holidays, evenings, before or after normal shift hours. Travel may be required to assist other systems personnel.

+ All Technicians and above must be able to cope with a remote arctic environment.

+ Drug Testing: Participation in a DOT or non-DOT drug and alcohol testing program may be required to satisfy conditions of a contract or proposed contract with a business partner or client.
