Supervise teacher assistants and classroom volunteers to ensure they are following planned activities, hygiene, and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records, forms, and files.
Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of 2 years of professional childcare experience.
Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
A strong understanding of child development.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.

What Your Days Will be Like:

About the Opioid Recovery & Care Access (ORCA) program
DESC's ORCA program provides compassionate, low-barrier, and evidence-based care to individuals who are recovering from opioid overdose and those seeking treatment for opioid use disorder (OUD). The ORCA Center, our brick-and-mortar location, provides post-overdose subacute stabilization services and provides walk-in access to medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD). The ORCA Patient Outreach Division (POD) delivers field-based MOUD care - meeting people where they literally are in the community.
ORCA Center
The ORCA Center is open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, including holidays. It is staffed by a multidisciplinary team, including providers, nurses, medical assistants, peers, and milieu specialists. The ORCA Center offers four overlapping types of services:
Care to individuals in stable condition who have experienced an opioid overdose, brought to the ORCA Center by first responders or transferred from local emergency departments.
Rapid initiation of medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD), including buprenorphine (sublingual and long-acting injectable) and methadone (under the “72-hour rule”, or CFR Title 21 §1306.07 (b)), for people with OUD, regardless of whether an opioid overdose has recently occurred.
Harm reduction counseling and OUD-related physical and behavioral health services.
Follow-up care for individuals who have started MOUD to ensure support in MOUD continuation.
ORCA POD
ORCA POD is ORCA's field-based care team, bringing MOUD induction, stabilization, and maintenance services as well as education and other supports directly to patients in the community. ORCA POD operates during business hours (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.). ORCA POD is a multidisciplinary team, including providers, nurses, and peers, operating across several geographic areas throughout the greater Seattle region including:
Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) sites
Emergency shelters
Encampments or unsanctioned sites
High-need geographic zones identified in collaboration with DESC and community partners
Areas without easy access to low-barrier MOUD services
JOB OVERVIEW:
The POD Provider delivers flexible, trauma-informed clinical care in the field and supports rapid initiation and continuation of medications for OUD (MOUD). This role works closely with DESC's Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) partners at the Seattle Fire Department (SFD) to coordinate targeted outreach, create pop-up MOUD access points, and conduct follow-up with individuals after overdose or acute events.
The POD Provider may also support the DESC ORCA Center, which operates 24/7 offering rapid MOUD access and post-overdose care. This is a clinical, non-supervisory position.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Field-Based Clinical Care and Community Engagement:
Provide evidence-based MOUD treatment (buprenorphine, including LAI formulations; methadone under the 72-hour rule) in a variety of community settings.
Provide telemedicine care to patients and remote consultation for nurses in the field.
Deliver low-barrier clinical assessments, MOUD initiations, acute follow-up, and ongoing management for individuals engaged in outreach.
Conduct harm reduction counseling, including safer-use strategies and overdose prevention planning.
Manage common conditions such as skin and soft tissue infections and connect individuals to primary care or mental health services as needed.
Participate in Seattle Fire Department Mobile Integrated Health joint outreach operations, pop-up MOUD access points, and targeted “hot spot” engagement based on real-time overdose and EMS data.
Support field-based follow-up after overdose, SFD encounters, or ORCA Center visits to ensure MOUD continuation and reduce treatment drop-off.
Care Coordination & Multidisciplinary Collaboration
Work closely with POD nurses and peers to deliver holistic, relationship-centered care.
Coordinate care and warm handoffs with the ORCA Center, DESC outpatient clinics, community MOUD programs, hospitals, and outreach partners.
Establish and maintain strong partnerships with SFD MIH, PSH and shelter staff, and other community organizations to expand access to low-barrier addiction care.
Ensure continuity for individuals transitioning between field engagement, ORCA Center care, and community providers.
Documentation & Clinical Practice Standards
Complete timely documentation meeting DESC, regulatory, and payer requirements.
Utilize electronic health records effectively and maintain accurate clinical and outreach notes.

Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Fully licensed as a Physician, Nurse Practitioner (Family or Adult NP), or Physician Assistant in the State of Washington.
If physician, board certification, or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire, in emergency medicine, family medicine, or internal medicine.
Current registration with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA).
Experience or training in addiction medicine, harm reduction, or caring for individuals with OUD.
Proficiency with clinical documentation and electronic health records.
Desire to serve people with complex needs who are or have been experiencing homelessness and are living with serious and persistent mental illness, substance use disorder, and other complex medical conditions.
Able to work effectively with clients displaying a wide range of challenging behaviors .
Adaptable to changing priorities, processes, or workflows as the program grows and evolves.
Able to give and receive constructive feedback.
Familiar with trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and equity and social justice principles.
Possess cultural humility and able to work effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds and identities.

Doctoral degree.
Experience in low-barrier buprenorphine programs or Opioid Treatment Programs.
Background in acute settings (e.g., ED, EMS, crisis response).

Purpose: Brigid Collinss mission is to strengthen community health and resilience by providing comprehensive support to children and their families.
Scope of Services: To perform childcare services and other duties in line with Brigid Collins policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
Compensation: Childcare contractors will be paid an hourly rate of $19.13for services. Please note, this is a part-time, temporaryposition that does not guarantee weekly hours. When services are needed, average hours are 3-5 per week.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Assist Brigid Collins staff with childcare (supervision, activities, assisting with meals).
Act with integrity and professionalism.
Maintain confidentiality of Brigid Collins clients.
Maintain a warm, open-minded attitude with children and caregivers.
Learn and use evidence-based skills when interacting with children.
Always maintain a safe and clean environment and inform supervisor of unsafe conditions.
Assist with preparation and clean up.
Child Care Worker agrees to:
Adhere to Brigid Collins child safety and confidentiality policies.
Complete all Brigid Collins required training.
Participate in ongoing supervision and staff meetings.
Complete Washington State Food Handlers Training.
Complete First Aid/ CPR Training.
Brigid Collins will reimburse staff for background check and training fees associated with this position.

Job Description
We are seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to assist children ages 12-21 with disabilities; behavioral or medical complexities in our residential program.
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP/Caregiver), you will support children with activities that focus on increasing their independence. As a DSP/Caregiver, you will work with children to provide coaching, supervision, and role modeling life skills. The job may also include transportation, medication administration, meal preparation, and assistance with personal cares.
Qualifications
Valid driver's license required
6 months of professional work experience supporting vulnerable populations required (ex. caregiver, nanny, paraeducator, direct support professional, etc.)
6 months of volunteer experience may be used in leui of professional work experience.
Must be 21 years of age or older per Washington state licensing requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Good communication is key in this role. You'll rely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.

Responsible to: Program Manager & Program Administrator
In addition to the DSP job description, the Lead Staff will be responsible for the following duties:
To provide direct care (DSP) training, including some new hire orientation.
To provide necessary staff training, including new hire orientation.
To complete the staff schedules with input and guidance from the Program Manager.
To cover shifts when necessary.
To carry the Supported Living phone on a shared basis with the other Lead Staff.
To review client charts daily and monitor implementation and documentation of all written programs.
To schedule necessary appointments to the doctor, dentists, as well as other medical providers, and ensure the correct paperwork is completed. To attend critical medical appointments.
To ensure that weekly menus are correct, with client input and utilizing substitutions where necessary, and make sure the grocery budget is met.
To complete quarterly quality assurance checklists and monthly fire drills. Address identified needs with Program Manager.
To participate in the development of Person Centered Support Plans (PCSP's):
§ To assist the Program Manager in scheduling and obtaining assessments.
§ To provide relevant information regarding client's progress at annual PCSP meeting.
To review the Individual Instruction and Support Plan (IISP) quarterly and report any recommended changes to the Program Manager.
To attend all scheduled meetings and provide relevant information for the success of each individual.
To assist in the completion of performance evaluations for staff.
To complete monthly change over in each client's book.
Be able to perform operations in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the governing body in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, e.g. WAC & RCWs.
Act as liaison for the client related to medical, and other professional needs.
Supervise the confidentiality and safe storage of current and closed client records.
Ensure proper recording of financial transactions. Reconcile all financial accounts and balance bank statements monthly.
To encourage and facilitate teamwork and staff morale.
To review and ensure correctness of staff time sheets based on site schedule book, as requested by the Program Manager.
To transport clients and monitor documentation of mileage.
To plan for and verify the maintenance of Camelot Society vehicles.
To assist in the completion, follow-up and processing of General Event Reports (GERs).
To attend conferences, seminars, and workshops to enhance the planning and maintenance of effective programs.
To maintain relationships with each client's parents and/or guardians, advocates, school and vocational training personnel, and consultants in regards to daily activities.
To establish and maintain positive relationships with the local community.
Adhere to and demonstrate the agency policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned by Program Manager.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 months experience working with special needs populations preferred.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and sound judgment.
Excellent communication skills; specifically verbal skills in reference to receptive and instructive communication.
Ability to plan and organize as needed.
Have met all qualifications for the Direct Support Professional position.
