Minor Fleet Maintenance: Perform basic on-site vehicle troubleshooting and repairs, including replacing bulbs/fuses, clearing door jams, jump-starting batteries, and maintaining fluid levels to minimize van downtime. Reporting: Maintain logs of driver performance, accidents, and attendance for management review. Qualifications Experience: At least 1 year of experience in logistics, dispatching, or delivery. Prior DSP experience and/or Food Service managerial experience is also a plus. Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with GPS tracking software, scheduling apps, and basic spreadsheet tools (Excel/Google Sheets). Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally under pressure via phone, and text. Must be bilingual (English and Spanish). Critical Thinking: High-level problem-solving skills to manage route delays and vehicle breakdowns on the fly. Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical or electrical vehicle issues (e.g., fuses, bulbs, battery jumps) without immediate assistance from a mechanic. Availability: Must be willing to work flexible hours, including late evenings, weekends, and holidays. Additional Information Work Environment Ability to stand for long periods during load-out.
