Summary of Duties for the Life Enrichment Assistant
Life Enrichment Assistant is responsible for assisting in the execution of the activities programming within the community. Life Enrichment Assistant must be able to facilitate a variety of activities in a professional, friendly manner that enhances the lifestyle of the residents and community. This includes operating the company vehicle for the execution of resident excursions.
Essential Functions of the Life Enrichment Assistant
Administers / Assists in activity programming from inception to execution.
Ability to follow established standards in the performance of duties according to state regulations and company policy and procedures.
Confidential documentation of identified resident needs and or problems.
Document resident participation.
Communicate with Life Enrichment Director resident feedback.
Chauffer the residents in the company vehicle for scheduled activities and church runs.
Attend weekend, evening, and holiday functions when necessary.
Assist in decorating the community for holidays and special events.
Will participate in and support the resident-centered activity and life enrichment programs.
Non-Essential Functions of the Life Enrichment Assistant
Supports and participates in the resident centered activity programs.
Participates in projects or committees as assigned.
Attends all associate meetings including in-service education and associate functions, as requested by supervisor.

Function independently to perform age-appropriate history and physical examinations.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
Partner with patients to determine, plan, and initiate appropriate treatment, and adjust treatment if necessary.
Safely prescribes and/or dispenses medications.
Document medical information of patients and reviews patients' histories at each visit.
Evaluate response to treatments and medications.
Consults, collaborates, and refers with other health care providers when appropriate.
Counsels' patients and performs patient education.
Perform minor procedures, i.e., laceration repair, incision and drainage, minor foreign body removal, etc. within the limitations outlined in the company protocols.
Manage pediatric (3 months +) and adult patients for both acute and chronic conditions.
Actively maintain knowledge of current medical research and trends.
Provides administrative support or cross-coverage for reviewing laboratory tests, results, and prescription clarifications when needed.

Perform heavy lifting, tilting, pushing, sliding, and moving of packages, which may weigh up to 50 pounds or more on and off a hand truck without a helper.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle. Get in and out of the vehicle numerous times daily.
Complete necessary documentation accurately, including delivery logs and vehicle inspection reports.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations during loading and unloading processes.
Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes.
Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members require assistance on their routes.
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
