About Jovie
At Jovie, we help families thrive by providing exceptional childcare in both home-based and center-based settings. We are seeking warm, engaging, and passionate childcare providers to join our team in a flexible hybrid role that includes Nanny, Sitter, and Assistant Teacher opportunities.
This is an ideal position for individuals who love working with children, want variety in their schedule, and enjoy supporting families and classrooms across a range of ages-from infants to school-age children. (Even if you want a consistent schedule, we offer nanny placements too!)
As a Jovie Childcare Provider, you will have the ability to choose and manage your availability through our mobile app. You may work in:
Private homes as a Nanny (full-time, part-time, before-school and/or after-school)
Private homes providing sitter services (full-day or half-day assignments, on-call care, or date nights)
Local childcare centers as an Assistant Teacher
You may work in one area or across all three depending on your interests, availability, and experience!
Nanny & Sitter Responsibilities

Follow family-provided routines regarding meals, naps, play, and transitions.
Plan age-appropriate activities that promote learning and connection.

Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow Jovie and family safety guidelines.
Assistant Teacher Responsibilities
Support lead teachers and admin staff with classroom routines and learning activities.
Assist with daily curriculum, play-based learning, and social skill development.
Supervise children during meals, rest time, outdoor activities, and structured play.
Maintain a tidy, organized, and inviting classroom environment.
Help foster positive relationships with children, families, and teaching teams.

Qualifications

Ability to communicate professionally with families and management.
Strong time management, reliability, and problem-solving skills.
Comfort working independently in home settings and collaboratively in classrooms.
Must pass a background check. A valid driver's license is required.
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain after hire).
Schedule & Availability
You manage your own availability directly through the Jovie app.
Shifts vary based on your preferences and client needs, including full-time, part-time, before/after-school, or on-call.
Why Choose Jovie?
