Example of Duties Performs work in conjunction with the Park Tech 2 position description. Assists with leading work crews in general landscape and facilities maintenance. Performs a variety of landscaping maintenance duties such as mowing, trimming, fertilizing, edging, etc. May perform mechanical, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, painting and electrical maintenance work. Performs complex irrigation system repairs Performs auditing of irrigation systems. Performs preventative irrigation system maintenance. Assists with startup and shut down of irrigation system and maintenance of water features throughout the gardens. Assists with maintaining inventory of irrigation parts and supplies. Works with outside contractors to repair and upgrade irrigation system.
