This position performs day to day grocery store operations including cashiering, stocking, and attending to produce.
The following duties are essential but not limited to:
· Maintains core grocery store functions.
· Attends cash registers, restocks inventory and shelves, and retrieves shopping carts.
· Arranges grocery stock neatly and in an attractive presentation and maintains knowledge of current grocery item stock and location to answer customer inquiries.
· Addresses and answers customer questions, complaints, and inquiries.
· Assists customers in finding products, bagging items, and carrying items to cars.
· Removes aisle hazards and cleans spills and leakages.
· Keeps inventory well stocked in the back of the store to limit shortages.
· Takes inventory of stock inventory, and replenishes products as needed.
· Receives incoming inventory, loads and unloads it in the back room, and ensures products are appropriately stocked, rotated, and refilled on displays and shelves in grocery stores or the grocery department of department stores.
· Checks products for quality, freshness, damage, and price accuracy.
· May assist in ordering new stock of grocery or produce store items.
· Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory:
This position does not oversee staff.

Customer Experience

This is a warehouse position responsible for operating an electric pallet jack, or forklift, to select the correct products, labeling products, palletizing products to build customer orders, and delivering the product to the dock safely and efficiently. Overtime hours and working weekends and holidays are required to successfully fill customers' orders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Hand select orders within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures, including dry, cooler, and freezer.
Stack product on pallets following proper selecting procedures (for example, no stacking heavy-on-light, labels facing out, etc.).
Engage an electric pallet jack, or forklift, to transport products.
Stage pallets for loading on proper dock locations.
Follows preferred work methods at all times, and immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe conditions.
Adhere to sanitation requirements to comply with the policy set forth by the company
Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment, including but not limited to pallet jack, and personal protective equipment.
Shrink-wrap product on the loading dock.
