About the Role

This is a PAID full-time, onsite internship at our office located in Cerritos, CA reporting to the Business Development Manager.
Essential Responsibilities:
Field Production: Set up and film interviews, capture high-quality B-roll at company events, and manage basic lighting/audio setups onsite.
Post-Production: Edit raw footage into polished segments, ranging from 15-second social teasers to long-form educational content.
Asset Management: Organize and maintain our digital media library to ensure the marketing team has quick access to high-quality footage.
Creative Collaboration: Work alongside our creative team to integrate graphics and typography into your video projects.
Essential Qualifications:
Portfolio Requirement:
Submission of a demo reel or portfolio showcasing previous videography and editing work (academic, freelance, or personal projects).
Project Submission Requirement:
Must be able to provide a sample edit based on a provided brief if requested during the interview process.
Educational Background:
Currently pursuing or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
Technical Skills & Software:
Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Strong understanding of camera operations, including manual settings, focus, and framing.
Basic knowledge of lighting techniques and audio recording equipment.
Familiarity with video formats, codecs, and export settings for various digital platforms.
Solid understanding of audio recording fundamentals and the use of external microphones.
Core Competencies:
Strong storytelling ability with an eye for pacing and visual flow.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills when troubleshooting equipment or editing sequences.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) or organized cloud-based file management.
Collaboration & Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with the marketing team and event stakeholders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple project deadlines.
Understanding of web security principles and best practices as they relate to digital content distribution.
Bonus Qualifications:
Advanced audio post-production skills (e.g., noise restoration, sound design, or multi-track mixing).
