Event Participation & Representation
Represent HICC Pet at trade shows, distributor events, and consumer shows.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in a sales role is preferred.
Prior experience in the pet industry or pet retail environment is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with CRM platforms; experience with HubSpot is strongly preferred.
Full proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
Occasional travel outside of the office may be required to attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events.

Our client is a well-established, niche supplier serving the airfield electrical market. They are experiencing steady growth with an increasing sales volume. They are currently seeking a motivated Inside Sales Support professional who values customer service, responsiveness, and is interested in growing with a stable, long-term organization. Our client offers hands-on training, internal advancement paths, and a strong profit-sharing program within their close-knit, 20-person organization.
Position Overview:
The Inside Sales Support role provides customer service, sales support, and order processing for the sales team. This opportunity is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, adaptable, and excited to grow within a company that invests in its people. The role involves working closely with sales, warehouse, and logistics to support day-to-day operations and ensure customers receive fast, accurate, top-tier service.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide responsive, service-oriented support to customers over phone and email
Assist the sales team with order entry, quote creation, and product information
Manage customer requests, follow up promptly, and ensure accurate communication
Support warehouse/logistics by helping pull orders and coordinating delivery needs
Maintain organized records, documentation, and updates in company systems
Learn product lines (airfield lighting/electrical components - training provided)
Collaborate with a small but high-performing team to ensure smooth operations
Participate in hands-on shadowing to learn parts, processes, and stock systems
Undertake additional administrative and customer service tasks as needed
Qualifications: Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong customer service background (phone-based experience preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
High attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
Excellent verbal communication and a pleasant, professional presence
Ability to multitask and respond with urgency when needed
A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong problem-solving ability
Must currently be employed (company preference)

Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in electrical distribution or related industries (ideal but not necessary)
Experience supporting inside sales or order fulfillment
Familiarity with electrical/industrial “widgets” or product-based environments
