Indegene was founded in 1998 by Doctor Rajesh Nair, Manish Gupta, Gaurav Kapoor, DoctorSanjay Parikh and Anand Kiran.
Founded in 1999 by Rajesh Nair, Sanjay Parikh, Anand Kiran, Gaurav Kapoor, and Manish Gupta, all the founders are still actively involved in running the business.
In 2006, Indegene acquired MedCases, a continuing medical education company based in the United States.
In 2008, Medsn officially became known as Indegene Pharmaceutical Solutions in the United States.
In 2009, Indegene signed a master service agreement with six pharmaceutical companies.
Business began scaling up in 2010.
In 2012, Indegene had 900 employees in offices in India, the United States, the European Union, and China.
The company subsequently acquired Atlanta-based Total Therapeutic Management in 2014.
In February 2021, Carlyle and Brighton Park agreed to invest US $200 million in Indegene
