Required Qualifications:
Successful completion of a Radiology program of study with specialization and training in MRI
One years' experience as an MRI Tech
Valid Radiology/MRI license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications:
Current ARRT or equivalent certification
Current ARMRIT or equivalent certification
Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
Summary:
The MRI Technologist operates magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to produce high-quality 3D images used in medical diagnosis. They interact directly with patients and administer intravenous injections of contrast dye as needed and collaborate with healthcare teams to provide accurate diagnostic results. MRI Technologists are responsible for maintaining equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring patient-centered care throughout the imaging process.
Essential Work Functions:
Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications prior to procedure, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
Educate patients on MRI procedure and answers questions if they arise
Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot MRI equipment to ensure proper functionality and report any malfunctions
Start I.V.s and administer contrast media per orders and protocol, monitoring patients for adverse reactions
Monitor image quality during procedures and make adjustments to scanning parameters for optimal diagnostic results
Document all procedure details, including imaging parameters and patient observations, in compliance with hospital policies
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging and timely delivery of results
Maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with infection control and hospital policies
Follow hospital safety rules and procedures including infection control and radiation safety protocols
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of an MRI Technologist
Required Essential Skills:

Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail

This position is responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. Heavy equipment may include, but is not limited to, front-end loaders, dozers, graders, rollers, and/or excavators.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Operates all heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures. • Performs daily safety and maintenance checks. • Interacts with construction general laborers and/or crew members who are facilitating alignment, movement, and adjustment of the equipment to complete conformation of grade specifications for the construction project. • Interacts with residents and members of the public in a courteous and respectful manner. • Makes note of and reports any complaints from members of the public. • Cleans heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required. • Ensures heavy equipment is safely and securely stored. • Advises the Foreman of any requirements for maintenance or repairs. • Participates in routine maintenance. • Practices workplace safety. • Maintains inventory. • Ensures access to houses and locations. • Maintains easements. • Performs pre-winter, winter, spring and summer maintenance on roads. • Uses equipment for snow removal. • Uses equipment to level roads and ensure proper drainage. • Performs other duties as assigned.

About the Program
UPMC's Student Nurse Internship (SNI) program allows you to put what you learned in nursing school into practice by working side-by-side with a preceptor. This is a temporary 10-week paid opportunity during the Summer of 2026.
During the internship you will have the opportunity to:
* Work one-on-one with a trained preceptor to see a day in the life of a nurse at UPMC
* Participate in supplementary educational sessions to continue your learning journey
* Build your confidence as a future nurse
* Work at one hospital for the summer (*Assignment shared at time of offer)
* Shadow at least one additional area of nursing at your hospital placement
* Work up to 40 hours/week (*SNIs follow their preceptor's schedule; we understand obligations may not permit you to work a full-time schedule, we can accommodate!)

Qualifications
* Currently enrolled in a Nursing Program (Diploma, Associates or BSN) with an expected graduation date of Fall 2026, Spring 2027 or Summer 2027 required
* Attendance required at SNI Program Orientation (May 18-22) and End of Summer Event (Friday, July 24)
* Availability to work throughout the summer with minimal absence required (schedule flexibility can be accommodated)
* Cumulative GPA of 3.0 strongly preferred
* Preference will be given to students wanting to pursue a nursing career at UPMC upon graduation
Licensure/Certifications
* Active American Heart Association (AHA) OR American Red Cross BLS certification throughout the entire summer is required
* SNIs must bring current AHA CPR certification to orientation
* All cards should specify that the course is for healthcare workers, professional rescuers, or is a BLS course. Community and First Aide cards cannot be accepted.
* Additional clearances may be required based on location and specialty
* Specific instructions will be provided during the onboarding process

JOB DESCRIPTION
The New York office of Alston & Bird is accepting applications for the position of Legal Support Assistant. Please note that this position is intended for individuals interested in pursuing a career within the administrative team of a law firm. Candidates that are considering attending law school in the future should apply for a paralegal and/or case assistant role.
As a Legal Support Assistant, you will be a critical part of Alston & Bird's world class professional service staff. You will be part of a team that delivers a high level of customer service, known as Alston & Bird's TOP ECHELON service, supporting our internal and external clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Work alongside Legal Administrative Assistants to support with various administrative duties and projects for attorneys.
Using Chrome River, process expense reports in a timely manner for reimbursement.
Assist with entering in attorney time records into the time entry application prior to deadlines.
Coordinate travel and create detailed itineraries.
Reserve conference rooms and coordinate meeting details, such as technology, food and beverage requirements.
Assist with drafting and formatting correspondence.
Process UPS shipping labels.
Create and quality control mailing projects, labels, nametags.
Answer incoming calls for lawyers and redirect as needed.
Handle incoming mail with confidentiality.
Serve as back-up to Guest Services Specialist.
Miscellaneous administrative tasks.
SKILLS NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Knowledge of and experience with general office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is preferred.
A working knowledge of general office procedures and filing techniques, along with the capability to concentrate on details and prioritize work is essential.
Ideal candidates should have the ability to work independently, communicate effectively, efficiently handle a shifting workload, and analyze complex situations.
Strong candidates will offer flexibility to extend their working hours occasionally when required by business need. This includes performing a variety of administrative duties including: project work; database entry; file maintenance; file organization; file indexing; file closing; preparation of file labels and folders; document production; binder organization; and assisting with copying.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in a professional work environment.
A four-year college degree is preferred.
General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook is highly desirable.
The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 and represents the Firm's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at this time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, and locations. This range is specific to our New York City office and may not be applicable to other locations.
