Position Overview:
To meet our needs, we are looking for a Targeting Officer to support a client's operational requirements at multiple locations in the Greater Washington Metropolitan Area. Successful Targeting Officer candidates will work in an integrated government-contractor team fusing intelligence information from multiple intelligence disciplines. Responsibilities include all-source intelligence research, analysis, and report writing; operational concept development; stakeholder engagement; and preparation and presentation of reports to all levels of customer management. Targeting Officers must be able to think critically and communicate highly complex information accurately, clearly, and in proper context while working collaboratively in a team environment. Candidates should be comfortable with drafting and disseminating written reports and requests for information. The ability to confidently deliver clear and concise briefings is a key skill for this role.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and at least 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
*5 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for a degree*
Active Top Secret SCI security clearance with Poly at time of application
Desired qualifications:
Experience in Intelligence Operations / Analysis / Support to Field Operations
Experience identifying targeting leads through the exploitation of all-source databases
Experience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices
Formal training or certification as a Targeter.
Overseas experience supporting collection operations and information sharing

The demanding pace of operations has Desk Officers finding solutions to complex operational problems, identifying new technical tools and capabilities to advance operations, and tapping the resources of the IC to ensure operational requirements are met. They provide objective reviews of ongoing and potential operations and serve as the vital link between personnel in the field and the Intelligence Community. These positions require prior experience in supporting intelligence operations or familiarity with the Intelligence Community and its objectives. Successful candidates must work well in team environments and be capable of operating independently with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications:
