The Impact You'll Make in this Role
This position is responsible for providing leadership in a service location and the training of employees and customers associated with their location.
Also requires customer service in the delivery, pickup and service of medical equipment including loading and unloading of that equipment in company vehicles. Responsibilities include administrative duties including performing and assisting in maintaining inventory of products, parts, disposables and supplies. In the absence of service center management, the individual in this position serves as the service center designee and assumes the associated responsibilities.

Training other service center employees with respect to operational protocols and processes and training customers on Solventum product and processes through basic troubleshooting protocols

Overseeing of local business operations to include metrics and required use of couriers
Preparing medical equipment (cleaning and disinfecting), disposables and documentation for use and return and executing research for missing & misplaced equipment
Prioritizing equipment needs to execute daily customer support needs, including quantity, time frame and resource allocation
Loading & unloading medical devices and supplies
Processing documentation for delivery and retrieval of products.
Maintaining appearance of facilities and vehicles, ensuring routine maintenance is completed and recorded as required by policy & procedure.
Serving as the service center designee, in the absence of service center management to assume responsibilities of the person in charge of the location.
Company Vehicle

Your Skills and Expertise

The Field Service Representative will interface with Solventum customers daily and is responsible for building, cultivating, and maintaining superior customer relationships. The daily responsibilities encompass the preparation of medical equipment for patient use to include disinfection, quality control testing, preparation for use and transportation of the equipment to and from customer locations utilizing a company provided vehicle.

The NIR Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Neurologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures in roles that include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. 1. The Senior Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist must be an active, effective preceptor for new associates and students.
2. Competent to scrub and circulate all coronary cases including complex PCI and brachytherapy; Ventricular assist devices (IABP, IMPELLA and ECMO); all peripheral vascular cases including venous procedures (IVC reconstruction) and all Structural Heart Procedures including aortic and mitral valves and ASD/PFO. Must rotate through all labs including the HVL at least twice a month.

In this role, you'll be the trusted first point of contact for our customers-troubleshooting software issues, providing guidance, and ensuring they get the most value from our products. You'll balance technical expertise with strong communication skills, making complex topics easy to understand while fostering lasting customer relationships.
What You'll Do:
Serve as the first line of support for proprietary software and databases via phone, email, and chat
Troubleshoot and resolve product-related issues, escalating complex cases when needed
Guide users through corrective steps and train customers using webinars, online presentations, and other learning tools
Customize support solutions to fit unique customer needs and business processes
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to improve product performance and user experience
Mentor Product Support Specialist I's and share best practices across the team
Represent Meridian at conferences and networking events
What You'll Bring:
Experience: 4+ years in a technical support role
Education: Bachelor's in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience in a related field
Skills:
Strong written & verbal communication
Ability to troubleshoot and support software applications
Proficiency with help desk software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite

Paid Time Off: Eligible to begin accrual from date of hire; accrual amount based on years of service. Beginning accrual rate equivalent to 22 days per year. 9 holidays which include the day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Eve. Up to 240 hours of PTO can roll over to the following year.
Volunteer Time: 8 hours per year
Retirement: Robust 401K. Following one year of eligible service, the Company contributes in two ways: (1) match of 100% of each dollar you contribute on the first five percent (5%) of eligible compensation, and (2) Employer basic contribution of 4% of base salary (with increases in basic contribution percentage based on years of service).
