At Eagan Pointe Senior Living, our roots date back to 1966 when Harry and Pearl Lemieux purchased Southview Acres Health Care Center in West St Paul.
With the purchase of their first facility in 1975, Jack and Eldora Vetter began a tradition of care that has endured through the years as a respected example of excellence to many others in the profession.
In the summer of 1982, a group of friends gathered at their usual ice cream parlor following services at Central United Methodist Church in Florence, SC. On this Sunday, they grieved over saying goodbye to a friend who had just moved to a faraway retirement community.
Chancellor Health Care, Inc. was incorporated in Delaware on November 20, 1992 as a privately owned C-corporation.
In 1999, they created their own management company, Dial Senior Living, focused on establishing a family-first, positive environment for residents and team members.
In 2003, Harry and Pearl’s grandson Lance Lemieux began plans to serve a younger and more independent generation of seniors.
By 2005, Lance welcomed the first residents to Southview Senior Living in West St Paul, just a few feet from his grandparents' original care center.
Since 2010, Angels Senior Living has made it our mission to provide a total continuum of care to seniors in need.
