The Senior Specialist, Knowledge Management will serve as a liaison between attorneys, business professionals and the Practice Solutions & Research team to develop and implement best practices, procedures, tools and techniques to aid in the delivery of legal services to clients. The Senior Specialist, Knowledge Management will identify effective use of Generative AI, client facing solutions, and knowledge and information systems and provide analysis and recommendations of technology solutions to help achieve these goals.
Responsibilities
Identify and implement technology solutions to aid in legal service delivery to clients
Collaborate with attorneys and firm leadership to develop standardized processes for legal matter management through the use of technology
Support and manage the firm's GenAI solutions including CoCounsel, Harvey, DraftWise, ThoughtRiver, Kira, FoleyChat and CoPilot
Lead and support projects related to efficient use of existing technologies such as DocuSign, HighQ, Microsoft applications and other tools
Research and recommend new or existing tools and resources to improve workflow productivity and efficiency

Facilitate the continual process of identifying best practices by remaining current on knowledge management and GenAI trends, particularly related to the legal industry, and the range of technologies available to effectively deliver information and knowledge services
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required. JD, M.L.S., or equivalent degree preferred
Minimum five (5) years of related experience in a consultative role in a law firm or professional services firm. Experience as a practicing attorney or paralegal preferred
Solid understanding of knowledge management trends and technologies, GenAI technologies, content automation tools and collaboration platforms
Proven experience as a team lead with project management skills

The Manager of Corporate Paralegals is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Corporate Paralegal team across the firm. Safety
o Aid in development of Site Specific Safety Plan (SSSP) and manage adherence to this plan onsite o Act as the company safety lead in the absence of a safety officer.
o Develop and instruct the men in safety policy and command compliance.
o Handle Daily Hazard Analysis's and review before each work day. Any employee that refuses to sign will be dismissed from your project.
o Ensure each project has the required safety materials and tools needed to follow Owner, General Contractor, and Silverback company safety policies.
o Be or become OSHA 30 certified.
Ensure every Silverback employee on their project adheres to the Zero-Tolerance Drug Policy.
o Designate equipment operators for project. Licensed individuals may be the only personnel allowed to operate on Silverback projects.
o Coordinate with General Contractor safety officer for clarification on policies and any changing environments that would cause safety hazards.
o Complete or delegate equipment safety checks daily. Replace or repair any defective tools or machinery. Broken or effective tools or equipment will be tagged and removed until able to safely work at manufacturer standard.
o Issue and regulate PPE for employees.
Efficiency/Team Coordination
o Assist the Project Manager in determining the necessary material and equipment needed to perform the work on each project.
o Schedule equipment and material deliveries to correlate with the project schedule. o Work with the General Contractor to develop (and maintain) project schedules and look-ahead plans.
o Attend all weekly scheduling meetings as projects schedules adjust.
o Engage with the crews in the field. Begin work each day directing foremen and crew leads on what their tasks will be for the day and help answer any questions or clarifications needed for the men to perform their work.
o Understand drawings for the project and be proactive in identifying potential issues before they arise. o Coordinate between the shop drawings and project drawings to completely envision and understand how the project will be built.
o Plan job phasing, manpower loading, and efficient work structure to maximize efficiency of the crew(s).
o Evaluate crew strengths/weaknesses and determine how best to use each employee
o Schedule and estimate concrete take-offs for pours. o Work with subcontractors (finishers, vendors, concrete suppliers) ahead of time to schedule when they are needed on site.
o Work and coordinate with GC and other subs to be aware of any work that needs to be completed beforehand or are working in adjacent areas.
o Keep quantities of material ordered and material used to ensure we limit waste.
o Weekly tracking of timesheets/reporting in Procore.
Quality
o Understanding and implementing the Quality Control Plan
o Walking the jobsite daily to observe any deficiencies in our work and make corrections.
o Completing any checklist or QA/QC policies the owners or GC may have pertaining to the project.
o Addressing any observations made by Owner, GC, or A/E in a timely manner
o Promoting attention to detail to the Silverback employees on site starting with the foremen and crew leads.
o Dismissing any Silverback employee who does not meet the industry standard at their position.
o Identifying and correcting poor workmanship and relaying that information/corrective action to your supervisors
