Are you ready to join the programmatic evolution?
We are seeking an exceptional Head of Product Operations to elevate our Product Management organization to new heights. Your leadership will streamline our complex and dynamic team, making us more efficient internally, across departments, and for our global customers. You'll transform our product organization into a seamlessly operating powerhouse.
Here's what you'll be doing:
* Design, implement, and streamline processes with Product (PM) leaders to improve efficiency, gather key data, set and track goals, standardize problem diagnosis, and create successful outcomes.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Product Marketing, Legal, Policy, and Commercial) to align product processes, support their teams without overburdening PMs, and automate stakeholder input to assess product health and serviceability.
* Oversee and refine tools and systems to support development and operations, owning and driving timelines to ensure successful planning outcomes.
* Develop a strategy and roadmap for operational initiatives, process improvements, and tool implementations that support product delivery.
* Implement communication strategies to ensure transparency and alignment internally and with external stakeholders, working closely with product and marketing leaders to refine communication timelines.
* Own the PM calendar - ensure we are on time and prepared for upcoming standardized events.
* Oversee and improve processes with commercial and go-to-market stakeholders to ensure products are properly launched, measurable, serviceable, and meet business objectives.
* Support strategic planning and execution of operational initiatives aligned with overall business goals and product strategies.
* Coach, manage, support, and mentor members of the product operations team, fostering professional growth and an inclusive, collaborative culture.
* Promote continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the product organization to drive ongoing process improvements and operational excellence.
* Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team performance and operational effectiveness, using data-driven insights to drive improvements.
What we're looking for:
* Ideally 7+ years of experience within product operations, strategy, or product management at high-growth companies with diverse stakeholders.
* Bachelor's or advanced degree preferred in business, but we emphasize relevant skills and experience over specific degrees.
* Proven track record of leading product operations or similar functions. Demonstrated success in driving organizational change, process development/removal, and successful initiative launches.
* Deep understanding of product development processes, product lifecycle, and associated methodologies (Agile, Scrum, OKRs, etc.) all the way from planning, building, and releasing to supporting existing products. Experience with not only streamlining processes, but also optimizing cross-functional relationships.
* Strong strategic thinking and data-driven problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Product Board, etc.) and data analytics platforms.
* Experience with facilitating goal setting and planning processes at the team, org, and company level.
* Practical and you know when to say no to a surface-level good idea, have a good sense for benefit tradeoffs, and when too much process will be inefficient or unsuccessful.
* Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships across the organization; excellent verbal and written communication, adept at presenting to executive teams.
* High ethical standards and professionalism.
* Flexibility for some travel.
Why you'll love this role:
* Impact at Scale: Influence a product team of 20, and engineering team of nearly 300, and a platform that's integral to the global digital advertising ecosystem.
* Collaborate with Industry Veterans: Work alongside professionals from top companies like Google, Amazon, Freewheel, Microsoft, Yahoo!, and eBay. Be part of a team built on cooperation, respect, and teamwork.
* Shape the Future: Play a pivotal role growing ad spend for content creators on the open web.
* Innovative Environment: Thrive in a fast-paced setting where your contributions drive real change.
* Challenge Yourself: one of our core values is change, and while it can be hard, we believe in always questioning how we can get better.
Why you'll love working here:
* Comprehensive health, dental, and vision plans for you and your dependents
* Paid time off, health days, and personal obligation days plus flexible work schedules
* Competitive retirement matching plans
* Equity packages
* Generous parental leave available to birthing, non-birthing, and adoptive parents
* Annual well-being allowance plus fitness discounts and group wellness activities
* Commuter benefits and discounts, where available
* Employee assistance program
* Mental health first aid program that provides an in-the-moment point of contact and reassurance
* One day of volunteer time off per year and a donation-matching program
* Bi-weekly town halls and regular community-led team events
* Multiple resources and programming to support continuous learning
* A workplace that supports a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment
