OR Successfully completed (a) a 1-year dental assistant program, or completed 1 year of a dental hygiene program accredited by the American Dental Association's Commission on Accreditation that included a course in radiation physics; radiation biology; radiation health, safety and protection; x-ray films and radiographic film quality, radiographic techniques; darkroom and processing techniques; and film mounting; or (b) practical nurse training approved by the appropriate State or District of Columbia accrediting body. OR A combination of experience and education. For GS-04: Your resume must demonstrate 6 months of general experience (described above) AND at least 6 months of specialized experience. Qualifying specialized experience is work providing dental assistance to general or specialized dentistry, dental assistant (expanded function) work, or any combination of these appropriate to the position(s) being filled. Specialized experience at this level includes: providing chairside assistance, setting up proper instruments for dental procedures, recording treatments rendered, providing receptionist services, and exposing and processing digital oral x-rays. OR Successfully completed a 2-year dental assistant program, or completion of a 2-year dental hygiene program accredited by the American Dental Association's Commission on Accreditation that included at least 12 semester hours of courses such as radiation physics; radiation biology; radiation health, safety and protection; x-ray films and radiographic film quality, radiographic techniques; darkroom and processing techniques; and film mounting. OR A combination of experience and education. If education is used to meet specialized experience requirements, then such education must include courses directly related to the work of the position. Radiological Certification Requirements for GS-3 and GS-4 Public Law 97-35 requires that persons who administer radiological procedures meet the credentialing standards, which are set forth in 42 CFR Part 75. Essentially, they must (1) have successfully completed an educational program which meets or exceeds the standards described in that regulation, and is credited by an organization recognized by the Department of Education, and (2) be certified as radiographers in their field. The following meet these requirements: Persons employed by the Federal Government as radiological personnel prior to the effective date of the regulation (January 13, 1986) who show evidence of current or fully satisfactory performance or certification of such from a licensed practitioner such as a doctor of medicine, osteopathy, dentistry, podiatry, or chiropractic, who prescribes radiological procedures to others. Persons first employed by the Federal Government as radiological personnel after the effective date of the regulation who (a) received training from institutions in a State or foreign jurisdiction which did not accredit training in that particular field at the time of graduation, or (b) practiced in a State of foreign jurisdiction which did not license that particular field or which did not allow special eligibility to take a licensure examination for those who did not graduate from an accredited educational program, provided that such persons show evidence of training, experience, and competence, as determined by OPM or the employing agency. If you who wish to be considered for positions at the GS-3/4 grade levels, then you must have a current I.H.S. or a State (or foreign jurisdiction) dental radiological health and safety certification of competency or proof of otherwise meeting the above described requirement. Time In Grade Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Staff working under the WISEWOMAN grant work closely with NARA's Chronic Disease Program which includes the Breast & Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program, the Diabetes Treatment and Prevention Program and the Colorectal Cancer Control Program. Individuals in this position are responsible for guiding program participants through a goal making process while involving lifestyle modifications that will lower cardiovascular disease risks. This position will serve as a subject matter expert on hypertension control and cardiovascular disease risk reduction. This will include outreach, scheduling, counseling, tracking and reporting outcomes of the WISEWOMAN Healthy Behavior Support Services and related clinical measures. The Lifestyle Coach will assist in creating, conducting, and implementing health promotion activities such as Diabetes Prevention Program classes, walking programs, cooking presentations, and employee health activities. They will also assist with training clinical staff in obtaining accurate blood pressure readings. An ideal candidate will be someone who role-models wellness. The Lifestyle Coach will be responsible for a panel of patients and, in collaboration with primary care providers, help patients meet their preventive, chronic and acute care needs related to CVD prevention. This will include completing nutrition assessments, providing nutrition counseling, individual health coaching, and group health education. Part of engaging patients and encouraging them to take an active role in their health will involve providing necessary tools to make healthy lifestyle choices and adopt lifelong healthy behaviors.

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS
The Judicial Assistant III is the journey and advanced journey level in the Judicial Assistant classification series. The Judicial Assistant III-Courtroom Assignment is distinguished from all other Judicial Assistants in that the primary focus of the courtroom assignment is clerical and administrative courtroom support work. The Judicial Assistant III-Courtroom Assignment is distinguished from the Judicial Assistant III-Office Assignment in that the primary focus of the office assignment is clerical and administrative legal processing support work. The Judicial Assistant III classification as a whole, both courtroom and office assigned positions, may act as a "lead-worker"; leading, training and assigning the work of subordinate and/or lesser experienced Judicial Assistants. The courtroom assigned Judicial Assistant III would typically be assigned responsibility for "peer" training of lesser experienced Judicial Assistant III-Courtroom Assignment employees as needed, while the office assigned Judicial Assistant III is typically assigned responsibility for leading, training and assigning the work of subordinate Judicial Assistants within an office based work unit, and/or may be assigned formal responsibility for overseeing, leading, training, and/or assigning a unique or specialty work load. Examples of Duties
Attends court sessions and takes minutes of actions and proceedings; requests clarifications of instructions and order of actions to properly note the official court record.
Examines ledgers, reports, and other financial documentation for technical defects and accuracy.
Maintains court records and files, such as records of court-appointed counsel and experts; receipts, marks, and takes custody of evidence.
Impanels and polls jurors, records challenges, administers oath or affirmations to witnesses and jurors and records jury service and compensation due jurors.
Advises attorneys, public agencies and the public on the status of cases and provides procedural information.
Prepares and reviews for format and content a variety of court documents.
Prepares court calendars and/or calendars cases for hearing, conferring with the appropriate individuals according to established procedures; distributes calendars and related case files for review.
May lead, train and/or assign the work of less experienced Court Assignment clerks as directed by supervisor.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Employment Standards
One year of experience performing the full range of duties of a classification equivalent to Judicial Assistant II with Court; OR

Essentially, they must (1) have successfully completed an educational program that meets or exceeds the standards described in that regulation and is accredited by an organization recognized by the Department of Education, and (2) be certified as radiographers in their field. The following meet these requirements: Persons employed by the Federal Government as radiological personnel prior to the effective date of the regulation (January 13, 1986) who show evidence of current or fully satisfactory performance or certification of such from a licensed practitioner such as a doctor of medicine, osteopathy, dentistry, podiatry, or chiropractic who prescribes radiological procedures to others. Persons first employed by the Federal Government as radiological personnel after the effective date of the regulation who (a) received training from institutions in a State or foreign jurisdiction that did not accredit training in that particular field at the time of graduation, or (b) practiced in a State of foreign jurisdiction that did not license that particular field or did not allow special eligibility to take a licensure examination for those who did not graduate from an accredited educational program, provided that such persons show evidence of training, experience, and competence as determined by OPM or the employing agency. In addition to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: GS-7: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the private or public sector) performing the following type of work and/or tasks: conduct oral health assessments on patients; respond to patient reactions during procedures, making minor adjustments in approach as needed; perform oral prophylaxis including scaling, root planing, polishing, sealant application, and fluoride treatment; provide oral health education services to individuals; and take, develop, and interpret intraoral and extraoral X-Rays. Time In Grade Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP). You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.

DNA is seeking to hire an individual for our open New Mexico Senior Attorney position located in our Farmington, New Mexico Office.
*REQUIREMENTS:* Senior Attorney must be a graduate of an accredited law school and a member of the New Mexico bar, or if licensed in another jurisdiction, able to gain admission to the New Mexico Bar within one year by motion or reciprocity. Admission to the Arizona or Utah bar is a plus, as is admission to the Navajo, Hopi, or Jicarilla Tribal Court bar. Must have at least five (5) years of experience as an attorney in a legal aid organization or similar non-profit law firm with strong litigation skills; strong oral and written communication skills; the ability to travel and work throughout the DNA service area; competence in working with diverse individuals and communities, especially with Native Americans, persons of color, and other marginalized communities; a commitment to providing legal services to the poor; the ability to identify and successfully pursue strategic, systemic, and affirmative advocacy; good judgment, the ability to handle stress, take initiative, and have a willingness to work as a team; and the ability to manage and supervise others, including the ability to mentor other staff and law students. Senior Attorneys are supervised by the Director of Litigation and the Executive Director.
*RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: *
(a) Under the supervision of the Director of Litigation and the Executive Director, the Senior Attorney oversees all activities in the designated jurisdiction to ensure that clients receive the full range of high-quality legal services.
(b) Responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the offices and projects operating in the designated jurisdiction.
(c) Engages with client and community groups, local stakeholders, bar associations, funders, and governmental associations to identify, assess, and meet client and community legal needs.
(d) Follows all DNA and funder policies and all applicable state, federal, and local regulations.
(e) Participates in community outreach, training programs, client education events, and management meetings.
(f) Participates and coordinate remote, local, and online intake in the designated jurisdiction.
(g) Handles a caseload consistent with Senior Attorney responsibilities and case staffing needs.
(h) Participates in grant writing, grant reporting, and grant management applicable to the designated jurisdiction.
(i) Performs all other duties as assigned.
*SALARY RANGE (depending on experience): $89,610 - $100,425*
