Typical duties and responsibilities: Managing all pharmacy employees, policies, and procedures. Preparing drugs and prescription orders for collection or delivery. Overseeing the ordering of equipment and supplies. Controlling inventory. Applying best practice protocols when storing prescription drugs and controlled substances. Verifying prescription details with the healthcare specialists who prescribed them when required. Maintaining an approved drug and controlled substances list and verifying expiry dates. Monitoring product displays, shelves, and the general appearance of the pharmacy. Addressing customers' requests and complaints. Hiring and training new pharmacy employees and scheduling shifts. The Nurse Manager works with the clinic staff and providers to ensure the day-to-day operation of the clinic is efficient and productive. Nurse Manager Responsibilities Include: Prepares medical and immunization histories. Takes and records vital signs and other physical data. Makes nursing assessment of patient's conditions. Follows standing orders in dispensing medications . Prepares patients for examination by the physician. Assists physician in examining room . Makes referrals as appropriate and necessary. Supervisory: Sets work schedules and assigns work tasks to nursing and family health workers. Supervises other clinic employees in the absence of the Clinic Manager. Orders, inventories, and is responsible for pharmaceutical, laboratory, and clinic supplies. Supervises and participates in the preparation of accurate client medical records. Provides orientation and in-service training to subordinates. Completes job reviews for subordinates. Develops and trains staff; continuously improves processes, service, and outcomes. Screens, hires, and orients employees; resolves conflicts; Evaluates employee performance; conducts periodic & annual performance assessments . Maintains appropriate staffing levels based on work demand seasonally and long-term . Works with department supervisors to adjust schedules, policies, procedures, and staff. Requirements Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing. Registered as a nurse in the state of Indiana. Experience in public health nursing, including supervisory experience. Spanish language skills preferred. As an Integrated Behavioral Health Therapist, you will provide single session therapy (SST) or ongoing therapy interventions to patients who have mental health, substance use, and/or physical health conditions impacting their well-being, while integrating your care with professionals on the care team. You will report to the Site Operations Director and receive clinical guidance and support from clinical leaders.
