Operate and maintain production machinery and equipment as needed. Ensure all food safety and quality assurance standards are met in accordance with company policies and USDA regulations. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for handling, processing, and sanitation. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Work efficiently to meet daily production goals and deadlines. Adhere to all workplace safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Assist with additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management. Qualifications: All applicants must be at least 18 years of age Ability to work in a cold, fast-paced, and physically demanding environment. Must be available to work from August 2025 - February 2026. Prior experience in meat processing, food production, or manufacturing is a plus but not required. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform repetitive motions. Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed. The Rendering Supervisor will utilize their skill, experience, and decision-making ability to ensure product through the department meets company, customer, and government specifications. Responsibilities: Lead the activities of the team members in the production of quality products in accordance with established and accepted company criteria. Direct and implement job related training for all team members in his/her department while ensuring company job rotation minimums are met. Summary: The Production Superintendent directs and coordinates, through direct report supervisory personnel, manufacturing activities utilizing knowledge of product function, production methods, procedures, and capabilities at Indiana Packers Corporation. Responsibilities: Plan and direct production activities and establish production priorities for products consistent with effective operations and cost factors. Supervise the department's production supervisors, responsible for employee training and development. Oversee department costs and ensure they are within budget. Utilize problem solving techniques, teamwork building strategies, and process control tools to efficiently meet or exceed the production schedule.
