Responsibilities:
Perform various tasks in the meat processing facility, including cutting, trimming, deboning, packaging, and labeling meat products.
Operate and maintain production machinery and equipment as needed.
Ensure all food safety and quality assurance standards are met in accordance with company policies and USDA regulations.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for handling, processing, and sanitation.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Work efficiently to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Adhere to all workplace safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Assist with additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.
Qualifications: All applicants must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to work in a cold, fast-paced, and physically demanding environment.
Must be available to work from August 2025 - February 2026.
Prior experience in meat processing, food production, or manufacturing is a plus but not required.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform repetitive motions.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team setting.

Summary:
Indiana Packer Corporation (IPC) is looking for a dynamic and experienced Internal Audit Manager to assist the Internal Audit Director to with the execution of Japanese SOX (JSOX) program and with the development of a comprehensive Internal Audit Function to include financial, operational IT and compliance areas that will include development of a COSO based Enterprise Risk Management Component to identify and evaluate key risk within the organization.
The IT Internal Audit Manager will be a key player in the evaluation of the current SAP ERP implementation, responsibility for the ongoing evaluation of all Information technology related Japanese SOX controls (ITACs - IT Automated Controls and ITGC - IT general controls). Additional responsibilities will be to assist management with improving the controls process to ensure that they are as efficient and effective.
Responsibilities
* Assist Internal Audit Director and Sr. Mgr. of Internal Audit with the execution of the annual JSOX process and oversee testers. ensuring compliance with all Indiana Packers, Mitsubishi and regulatory standards relating to JSOX. The primary control focus will be on IT controls once the SAP implementation is complete.
* Assist the Director and Sr. Mgr. of Internal Audit to develop the Enterprise Risk Assessment process that will be used to update the IPC Company risk assessment that will be the basis for the annual and strategic audit plan.
* Internal Audit Liaison for SAP implementation and IT control Consulting
* Oversee the maintenance and updating of all IT control and process documentation, ensuring alignment with organizational requirements.
* Coordinate annual IT control testing efforts in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
* Identify IT control deficiencies, communicate findings to relevant departments, and design actionable remediation plans.
* Monitor and validate the implementation of IT corrective actions to address identified control weaknesses.
* Collaborate with various teams to standardize procedures, implement process improvements, and integrate automation for stronger controls.
* Provide strategic input on special projects and ad hoc assignments to support organizational goals.

What will a Quality Assurance Intern do?
An intern will perform the daily fun job functions consistent with a full-time Quality Assurance Technician at Indiana Packers. They will perform actual full-time QA job functions while working inside one of America's premier pork processing facilities. In addition, the intern will need to have an open-mind and be willing to perform other tasks and or projects that support our Quality Assurance function.
Responsibilities
Complete quality control audits.
Perform monitoring and verification tasks prescribed in HACCP and SSOP plans.
Complete other QA inspections including but not limited to: boneless meat inspections, ambient and product temperature monitoring, inspection of packaging materials, process and procedural verification, and finished processed product audits.
Qualifications
Full-time college student, majoring in agricultural, food science, animal science or related field at a regionally accredited university.
Must have completed their freshman year at a college or university.
Must be able to work in cold (around 35 degrees) or ambient (whatever it is outside) temperatures.

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Strong work ethic and willingness to execute duties consistent with a full-time QA technician position with high quality results.

Summary:
The Production Superintendent directs and coordinates, through direct report supervisory personnel, manufacturing activities utilizing knowledge of product function, production methods, procedures, and capabilities at Indiana Packers Corporation.

Plan and direct production activities and establish production priorities for products consistent with effective operations and cost factors.

Supervise the department's production supervisors, responsible for employee training and development.
Oversee department costs and ensure they are within budget.
Establish individual and group goals and accountabilities and evaluate work performance for direct reports; review and approve performance evaluations for indirect reports.
Utilize problem solving techniques, teamwork building strategies, and process control tools to efficiently meet or exceed the production schedule.
Partner with Human Resources to ensure proper handling of employee relations issues in accordance with company policies and procedures; participate in the recruitment and selection of manufacturing personnel.
Ensure department follows company policies and procedures, FDA/USDA regulations, and customer specifications.

Environmental Services 3rd Shift
Indiana Packers Corporation is looking for a Full Time Environmental Services to perform general Janitor and Laundry Attendant duties, cleaning around our building including cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, locker rooms and attending our laundry room. Our Environmental Services not only sweep, mop, wash and sanitize all areas, they also create a welcoming and safe environment for our employees.
Responsibilities:
Clean the interior of buildings floors and stairs, sweep and mop
Operating floor scrubbers and floor waxers, etc.
Wash and clean windows, mirrors, and walls
Restock, clean, and sanitize restroom surfaces and locker rooms
Disinfect commonly used surfaces: tabletops, door handles, sinks and bathroom stalls
Collect and dispose trash
Stock and hand out frocks and uniforms from racks.
Keep laundry carts clean and free of debris.
Wash and dry dirty gloves, polar sleeves, polar gloves, mop heads etc. utilizing washing machines and dryers, as directed by management.
Sort and stage clean laundry and equipment for the supply room throughout the day
Clean dryer filter daily as trained.
Working in supply/knife room handing out supplies (Exchanging gloves, aprons, etc.)
Minor maintenance (Changing batteries, putting a cart together, tightening of screws, refilling paper and soap dispensers)
Stock and maintain janitorial closet
Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions
Must work in full compliance with all safety regulations including wearing proper PPE.
All employees are expected to adhere to their scheduled working hours and attend work consistently to ensure smooth operation and effective teamwork.
Qualifications:
At least 18 years of age
Work independently with minimum supervision
Willingness to work daily or weekly overtime
Effective communicator both verbally and in writing.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and resourceful in accomplishing tasks and deadlines.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions on the site including exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud and hearing protection is required. The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in cold, hot, and outdoor conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust.
Physical Demand:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The position will at times lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs., push and pull wheeled laundry carts up to 200 lbs., walk and stand for long periods of time and may perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls, or carries objects; uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support without fatigue. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arms and fingers, two hands) and multi-limb coordination. The position requires the ability to quickly move arms, legs, and climb stairs and ladders. The employee must have excellent stamina and vision.
