Resource will work as an Information Security Analyst responsible for auditing and monitoring systems containing confidential information. This position is also responsible for helping the organization manage its risks by monitoring the organization's IT systems for inefficiencies, inaccuracies, mismanagement, etc. Tasks will include assisting with the configuration of data, application, network, and IAAM logs; assisting with log reporting tools; and monitoring systems for security problems. The position participates in all aspects of the technology audit and monitoring including the planning, control analysis, testing, issue development, and reporting phases. This position will also participate in all federal and state audits against DCS technology systems. Employee works in an Information Technology Division of a State Agency, the Department of Child Services (DCS-IT) under the guidance of the Security Manager.
The essential functions of this role are as follows:
• Monitors and keep supervisor informed of status of information security and confidentiality conditions, including problem areas and recommended enhancement;
• Interfaces with user customers to understand their security needs and implement procedures to accommodate them including training and assessment.
• Assists with preparing for security audits (e.g. IRS, SSA, OCSE, FBI, SBOA) and remediating any findings; assists with creating and submitting reports relevant to security audits.
• Develop information security policies and standards for protection of information systems in compliance with state and federal requirements (e.g. IRS, SSA, OCSE, FBI, IOT) and guidelines (e.g. NIST SP 800-53).
• Develops Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for implementing security polices;
• Recommends appropriate security safeguards to be included during development of new information technology systems and legacy systems;
• Ensures maximum utilization of computer hardware and software features to secure automated systems and associated data;
• Develops and implements procedures for use of information security management software;
• Proposes information security software enhancements;
• Performs periodic audits to assure security policies and standards are being followed and are effective.
• Develops recommendations for enhancements and generates reports where necessary;
• Keeps abreast of new laws and changes affecting privacy standards, network security, cloud security, remote access, and physical security;
• Mentors and provides guidance to new or other staff as needed;
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Thorough knowledge of information security management tools, policies, and standards of information security procedures;

Overview
This classification has a considerable workload functioning at the working level performing children's services youth transportation and related work. An employee in this class serves as a transportation officer responsible for transporting youth safely and securely. Additional responsibilities may include addressing inappropriate youth behaviors, searching youth and state-owned vehicles, ensuring the functionality of state-owned vehicles, completing transportation reports, and more. An employee in this class must be able to work independently with minimal supervision on assigned tasks.
Responsibilities
* Transports youth safely and securely in a state-owned vehicle to various locations (i.e., court, medical, etc) and may be responsible for transporting youth statewide or out-of-state by vehicle or commercial aircraft. Uses mechanical restraints (Delinquent Youth Only) during transport and may require driving a secure vehicle.
* Explains to youth appropriate behavior expectations and ensures compliance. Encounters and corrects inappropriate youth behaviors that may involve aggression, trauma, self-harm, unruliness, runaway, etc.
* Performs searches on youth and state-owned vehicles under prescribed techniques/procedures prior to and after any transport to detect contraband or other potentially harmful items. Provides constant supervision of youth unless directed otherwise.
* Inspects assigned state-owned vehicle to ensure the signals, lights, seatbelts, and other safety features function according to state law and takes assigned state-owned vehicles to designated mechanic/service provider for cleaning and maintenance. Inspects car seats, booster seats, and safety seats to ensure they are clean, operational and within service life.

Overview
This position is part of the Tennessee State Parks Park Ranger series for TDEC. This is the entry-level classification in the TSP Park Ranger Series. Under immediate supervision, this classification is responsible for law enforcement, emergency medical response, safety and security of the park and general public, resource-based interpretation, resource management, supervision of full and part-time employees, supporting park operations, and providing maintenance within a state park. This class differs from a TSP Park Ranger 2 in that an incumbent of the latter performs at the working level. Responsibilities

Responsibilities
1. Responsible for ensuring safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the physical structures
of the lodge, cabins, and facilities, all
mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, pools, and other related equipment. Interacts with all
departments to understand, promptly address, and verify completion of all work order requests, and
routine maintenance on cabins, public space, meeting rooms, ballrooms, restaurants, kitchen,

2. Develops and implement plans for preventative maintenance of property, equipment, and grounds in

maintenance staff schedules according to TDEC standards and to best manage labor costs.
4. Develops, implements, and manages emergency and maintenance programs for the operation and
maintenance of all equipment and physical structures and grounds in compliance with Tennessee State
Park standards, local, state, and national codes and regulations to protect the asset, guests and
employees, to ensure optimum operations, minimize expenses and maximize customer satisfaction.
Maintains and has intimate knowledge of the fire emergency equipment, which includes detectors,
fire panels, annunciator panels, fire extinguishers, etc., and ensures that they are inspected in a
timely manner. Responds to all alarms immediately to ascertain the exact location and cause,
determines emergency status, reports findings to proper authorities, and takes immediate action as
necessary.
5. Ensures swimming pool chemical levels are within safe and legal limits.
6. Responsible for developing long term capital replacement plans for equipment throughout the
facility to ensure equipment is up to date and adequate funding is considered. Assists with the
creation and adherence to annual budget for the park's maintenance department. Administers all

* BOAH continues to transition Indiana veterinarians from using paper documents to electronic platforms. Interns will be tasked with identifying Indiana veterinarians that are currently still using paper CVI's, implementing free electronic applications at their practices, and training the clinic's veterinarian's and staff members on using these systems.
* May evaluate animals presented for exhibition at fairs, shows and exhibitions for compliance with State and Federal animal health or exhibition standards.
* Maintains and submits a variety of records and reports on all phases of activities.
* Maintains the security and up keep of all state and federal equipment used in the accomplishment of daily activities.
Projects
Database Updates: Each summer, BOAH relies on interns to complete a full update of our veterinarian and veterinary clinic modules housed in our database. There are approximately 2,000 veterinarians in Indiana, the majority of which provide regulatory services on behalf of BOAH and/or the USDA to Indiana citizens including vaccination, testing, and surveillance for reportable and program diseases, application of official livestock identification, and issuance of certificates of veterinary inspection for animal movement and disease traceability. For all Indiana veterinarians, the interns will be responsible for updating license and accreditation status, the veterinarian's contact information, and the contact information for the practice or organization where they are employed. Capstone Project: Students will be expected to work on a project throughout the duration of the internship to be completed by the end of the internship. The animal sciences student capstone project typically involves applying knowledge and skills to a real-world regulatory animal health setting. The project may focus on a specific area of interest and could include tasks like case studies, research on animal health issues, or developing plans under the guidance of experienced veterinarians. The project aims to enhance the student's problem solving, decision-making, and hands-on veterinary skills, preparing them for professional careers in animal health.

General Definition of Work
