This position may require on-call rotation and weekend coverage. This position may require operating a company vehicle. Must have hospital or warehouse experience. * High School Diploma/GED or equivalent years of experience is required. * High School Diploma/GED preferred. * Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience. * 1+ years of experience in order stocking and filling is preferred. * Some assignments may require the ability to operate manual and motorized material handling equipment. May be required to obtain Material Handling Safety Training certification within 30 days of hire. * Requires long periods of standing and walking (as much as 6+ hours per day) and heavy pushing and pulling. * Requires the continuous ability to: lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist; lift up to 20 lbs from waist to over-the-head; carry up to 25 lbs.

This director establishes policy and direction (programs and services) for department and is accountable for department results. The leader's responsibilities include the efficient and purposeful integration of services with other areas and emerging delivery systems and accountability for driving preeminence throughout the assigned areas. This director acts as a partner of the IU Health leadership team and participates in the strategic planning and the attainment of goals. Key Relationships Reports to: Executive Director-Respiratory Care and Diagnostic Services Candidate Qualifications Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies. * Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. * Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, i.e. Business. Master's degree in Business or related field preferred. * 7-10 years of relevant experience required. Requires graduation from a CoARC accredited respiratory care program. * Requires current Indiana license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. * Requires RRT credential by the NBRC. * Requires knowledge of state and national regulatory agency guidelines. * Requires demonstrated leadership skills (inspiring, problem solving, communication across multiple organizations, executing).
