The IU North's Emergency Department (ED is a 25-bed unit that serves more than 30,000 patients each year. Nurses treat a diverse population of patients with compassion, care, and clinical excellence. Our team cares for a variety of patients including those with heart attacks, strokes, heart failure, sepsis, DKA, and orthopedic, gynecologic, urinary, surgical, neurological, and integumentary complaints. You will work with an interdisciplinary team of doctors, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), Unit Support Techs, and Paramedics.
