Follow established safety precautions when performing tasks and when using equipment and supplies. Follow proper techniques when mixing chemicals, disinfectants, and solutions used for cleaning. Refer to manufacturer's instructions when necessary. Use appropriate personal protective equipment and supplies when handling infectious materials and/or hazardous wastes or chemicals. This is an evening position. The schedule is as follows: Monday - Thursday 5:30 PM-10:30 PM, Friday 12 PM - 5 PM. Picks up trash and empties trash containers. Assists with the cleaning and sanitizing of shared facilities and common spaces. Washes windows. Vacuums and cleans floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes. Examines property for safety hazards, reports problems to Facilities Manager or other appropriate staff. Ensures that cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked. Performs other related duties as required. Required Skills/Abilities : Thorough understanding of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions. Detail-oriented and thorough. Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance. Ability to keep the property clean and orderly. Good interpersonal skills with polite and courteous demeanor toward staff, customers, clients, and visitors to the property. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. At least 1 year cleaning in medical office or similar setting preferred. At least 1 year cleaning experience. Typical Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods standing. Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing housekeeping duties as well as managing laundry services to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Key Responsibilities: * Perform daily cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, and facilities, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. * Manage laundry services, including assisting residents with washing, drying, and folding. * Ensure all cleaning supplies and laundry materials are stocked and organized. * Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. * Assist in maintaining a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors. * Follow all health and safety regulations and protocols. Skills and Qualifications: * Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services preferred. * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. * Excellent time management and organizational skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor. * Physical stamina to perform cleaning and laundry tasks. Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift Responsibilities: * Provides cleaning and sanitizing services to support a safe, clean and welcoming environment. * Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, offices, clinics, clinical and procedural areas, and public spaces. * Supports patient safety through consistent and high-quality service. * Demonstrates ability to support the cleaning and disinfection of high-acuity clinical and procedural areas. * Applies disinfection protocols and utilizes approved cleaning tools in accordance with infection control standards and hospital policy. * Conducts hazardous and biohazardous waste removal in compliance with safety regulations and infection prevention protocols. * Proactively communicates and collaborates with clinical teams to ensure cleaning processes support patient safety and care flow. Qualifications: * High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred. * No previous experience required. * Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing required by the environment or government regulations such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear, etc. * Physical requirements to include: reaching, standing for long periods of time, squatting, bending, carrying and/or lifting supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs. or more, up to 80% of the time. * Requires the ability to operate light floor equipment for cleaning floors in patient care areas. * Requires the ability to climb ladders. * Requires the ability to clean areas that require technical cleaning including IR/Cardiac Cath/Mother-Baby/NICU/OR/ED.
