Duties and Responsibilities:
As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity. Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.
Typical assignments include:
· Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.

· Performing physical searches of detained individuals, their vehicles, and their immediate surroundings for weapons, contraband, currency, and other evidence.
· Apprehending, physically restraining, or working with law enforcement officials to identify or apprehend violators of state, federal, or immigration laws.
· Proficient in the use of firearms, preparing investigative reports, serving court orders (e.g., warrants, subpoenas, etc.), and gathering evidence for criminal cases prosecuted through the court system.
If you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience, you may qualify at the GS-11 grade level.
GS-11: You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, with the authority granted by the state or government to enforce laws, make arrests, and investigate crimes, performing primary duties in an official law enforcement capacity such as:
· Utilizing intelligence information to track illegal operations, criminal activity, threats to our nation, and/or contraband while serving as a state, federal, or military law enforcement official.
· Leading investigations of fraud, contraband, criminal activity, threats to our nation, and/or illegal operations to determine sources and patterns while serving as a state, federal, or military law enforcement official.
· Apprehending violators of state, federal, or immigration laws by utilizing various forms of complex technology that include surveillance, detection, situation awareness systems, and/or communications equipment.
The above experience will be applied in connection with the following: Make arrests and exercise sound judgment in the use of firearms; deal effectively with people in a courteous manner in connection with law enforcement matters; analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions; or develop and maintain contact with a network of informants.
There are no education substitutions for the GL-9 or GS-11 grade-level Border Patrol Agent opportunities.
Other Requirements:
Citizenship: You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for this position.
Residency: You must have had primary U.S. residency (including protectorates as declared under international law) for at least three of the last five years.
Age Restriction: In accordance with Public Law 100-238, this position is covered under law enforcement retirement provisions. Candidates must be referred for selection to the Border Patrol Agent position before reaching their 40th birthday in accordance with Department of Homeland Security Directive 251-03. The age restriction may not apply if you are currently serving or have previously served in a federal civilian law enforcement (non-military) position covered by Title 5 U.S.C. 8336(c) or Title 5 U.S.C. 8412(d).

Formal Training: After you are hired, you will be detailed to the U.S. Border Patrol Academy in Artesia, New Mexico, for approximately six (6) months of intensive instruction in immigration and nationality laws, law enforcement, and USBP-specific operations, driver training, physical techniques, firearms, and other courses. Border Patrol work requires the ability to speak and read Spanish, as well as English. Border Patrol Agents will be provided training to become proficient in the Spanish language at the Academy.

How you will contribute

You will evaluate donor reaction(s), which occurs at the facility as outlined in the SOPs. Follow applicable SOPs for medical emergencies including the development of Center Physician's standing orders and donor transport to emergency care facilities.
You will refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs (as applicable) when in need of providing unacceptable findings to donors, or guidance concerning medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility.
You will support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
You will manage employee incidents and determine whether further evaluation is required by occupational health/ER. Refer to EHS guidance regarding employee incidents.
You can be a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations associated with pandemic threats within the local community as indicated by EHS or Medical Affairs.
What you bring to Takeda:

The Acuity Adaptable Progressive Care Unit New Graduate and Registered Nurse provides clinical care and coordination skills to every patient served in the unit using the Eskenazi Health model of care, Synergy. The Acuity Adaptable Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse coordinates with the patient, family/loved ones and other healthcare disciplines to ensure care is appropriate to patient care needs.
At Eskenazi Health, new acute care nurses are welcomed to the organization through the Linda Hojnacki, RN, Nurse Residency Program. Designed for acute care nurses with less than one year experience and graduate nurses, the residency program supports the transition to practice and prepares nurses to care for complex patients and increasing acuity needs common in hospital settings. Eskenazi Health nurses are surrounded by a strong network of accomplished individuals who value nurses and are invested in their success for not only their development but also improved patient safety and quality of care.
Acuity Adaptable Care at Eskenazi Health represents a broad spectrum of inpatient services across 3 floors of our acute care hospital. What Schedule Can I Expect?
The Acuity Adaptable Progressive Care Unit team does take advantage of 6-week self-scheduling where team members request the days they work. We do offer a full time schedule which consists of three 12-hour shifts on either day shift (6:30AM - 7PM) or night shift (7PM - 6:30AM). There are no on-call requirements and team members rotate holidays.
What Are Nurse To Patient Ratios?
The department follows a primary care nursing model and typically utilizes a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. Patients vary in acuity and complexity, ranging from Med/Surg to high acuity Progressive Care status. All nurses are supported by 24/7 onsite Manager and Educator support.
What Does Training Look Like?
Eskenazi Health has a dedicated clinical education team that works with new hires the first week on board. The orientation period is typically 12-weeks and during this timeframe new members will be paired with a preceptor. Continued support is provided by managers, clinical educators, and seasoned staff. RPAS Objective:
The objective of this RPAS position is to grow current relationships and develop new target road industry accounts. Overview:
The RPAS will be expected to achieve a level of expertise enabling him to perform startup, demonstration, and diagnose operational application issues. The RPAS is expected to become a liaison with the customer and Brandeis personnel in an effort to be proactive in expediting solutions for customers. The RPAS will work closely with the sales reps to coordinate demos, startups and product application training with customers in their territories. The focus of the RPAS will be to build relationships with job foremen, crew superintendents, and other operations personnel of the targeted accounts in order to be a resource for these individuals and provide assistance needed to help promote and support our products. The RPAS is expected to be the primary point of contact with our road development products vendors to obtain relevant information from these suppliers to facilitate the functions described herein. RPAS Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Perform Machine Deliveries/ Walk-arounds and Operator Training.
Perform new machine deliveries.
Perform machine walk-around and familiarization with owner / operator.
Perform machine start up, systems integrity / operations training for product demonstrations and Customer purchased machines.
Perform warranty due diligence, explanation and documentation.
Perform manufacture post-delivery machine inspections.
2. Develop & Maintain excellent customer relationships, i.e.: External, Internal.
Develop and maintain relationships with the proper customer personnel.
Coordinate communications between Brandeis, Customer Technicians, Superintendents and Manufacturers on potential problems or issues, and provide guidance on and, if applicable, estimates/quotes for appropriate corrective measures.

How You'll Contribute:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable AV Production Support Technician to provide technical support for internal corporate events, including town halls, executive meetings, webinars, and hybrid events. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AV systems, live event production, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced corporate environment.
This position provides technical and operational support of audio-visual equipment and systems located within the following types of environments: Business/corporate offices, single and divisible conference rooms, training rooms, collaboration rooms, and open areas (digital signage). This position will also serve as the on-site liaison between the client, Diversified, and the other members of the on-site team. Diversified provides financial support and paid time for continued education leading to industry certifications and employee career development.
The Support Services Technician will be required to be on site Monday-Friday for eight (8) hours per day. Typical daily schedule will be 8am - 5pm. These hours may be adjusted based on meeting and event needs, including earlier starts, later end times, and overtime will be required.
What You'll Do:
Set up, operate, and break down AV equipment for live and hybrid events.
Provide technical support for video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex).
Operate cameras, switchers, microphones, projectors, and audio mixers.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
Troubleshoot AV issues in real-time during events.
Maintain and inventory AV equipment.
Support pre-event testing and rehearsals.
Exercising advanced technical skill level abilities to perform routine maintenance of advanced AV/technology related systems - including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and break/fix repair of faulty systems and equipment.
Act as the liaison between the on-site team and Diversified Service management.
Oversight for planning and implementation of process improvement principles required to maintain AV technologies in critical areas such as training rooms, video walls, meeting rooms, conference rooms, and AV spaces.
Support executive level meetings with tasks such as meeting start up, monitoring, and active troubleshooting.
Oversee repair and service of all AV equipment while planning and implementing improvements in AV equipment. Act as the technical escalation point for all AV equipment and related issues.
Work with the client team in the scheduling of meetings, and preparation of meeting room accommodations for end-users.
Daily/weekly room sweep scheduling and execution, with reporting to the client to ensure equipment and customized space functionality is optimized and ready for use.
Biannual preventative maintenance of rooms at the designated client site.
Identify defective or failed equipment and take ownership to resolution. Provide support for troubleshooting and maintenance of AV/multi-media systems. Provide problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems pertaining to medium to high complexity AV/multi-media systems.
Interface with equipment manufacturers, developers, engineers, and project managers on the client's behalf to provide resolutions for highly complex systems.
Conduct safe and correct diagnosis of faults - including removal, repair, tests, implementation, and operation of all aspects of audio visual, video conference, display and presentation technologies. Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of AV/multi-media systems.
Participate in and drive continuous improvement activities across AV technologies and collaborate with client to improve/evolve technology solutions.
Provide assistance to users in accessing, using, and diagnosing AV/multi-media systems.
Track, update, and report on AV ticket issues and support requests - showing progress as reported issues transfer from initial reporting date/time through final resolution date/time. Provide regular reporting of current and historical analytical data to meet measured client metrics.
Interface with client executive and "C" level personnel in a highly professional manner.
Ensure compliance with client HR and Labor regulations, benefits, PTO, safety rules, etc.
Collaborate with local Service management concerning actions, including but not limited to end-user provided training.
