Prevent cross contamination of product, work-in-progress, food contact surfaces and food contact packaging during sanitation procedures. Follow all company Sanitation SOPs (SSOP) for cleaning equipment and facility. Perform pre- inspection of clean equipment before requesting supervisor approval. Complete all required sanitation and SQF documentation. Washes and maintains cleaning carts and tools. Maintains all sanitation related equipment including but not limited to automatic floor scrubbers, vacuums, formers, cleaning equipment and tools. Performs other duties as assigned by the sanitation supervisor. Quality Assurance Follow established programs, policies, and practices to produce safe, quality foods that meet SQF, regulatory, company, and customer requirements. Adheres to all company GMPs and Safety policies. Health & Safety Follow company safety policies and practices fostering a safe workplace and environment for ourselves and our co-workers. Work safely with the chemicals used in the cleaning process and ensure all chemicals are used at proper concentrations following chemical handling SSOP. Wear appropriate person protective equipment (PPE) while perform cleaning tasks. Requirements Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Sanitation experience preferred. Experience leading a team Must be able to follow instructions in English. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Self- Directed Time Management control Must have strong oral and written communication skills. Follows all GMPs, Food Safety, SSOPs per assignments. Must be able to use Step ladder/Ladder Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with minimal supervision. Ability to work with extended periods of standing, walking, bending, twisting, and lifting in safe manner. Ability to interact professionally with honesty and respect towards Management, coworkers. Required to work 3rd shift, though hours may change due to demand, including weekends, or holidays. Able to lift-up to 50lbs.
