    As the Safety Coordinator for Industrial Communications West/Industrial Tower West, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, contractors, and visitors by implementing and maintaining effective safety programs, trainings and procedures. This position requires a strong focus on regulatory compliance and the ability to drive a safety-conscious culture throughout the organization. Candidates must have experience in the telecommunications, utility, wind energy or other construction industry that deals with fall protection safety. Responsibilities: Conduct regular safety inspections, hazard assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks. Recommend appropriate control measures to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct safety meetings and supply supervisors with material to conduct daily and weekly meetings with their crew. Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents, near misses, and corrective actions taken. Ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations by managing and maintaining up-to-date DOT driver qualification files, records, and medical cards. Conduct engaging new hire orientations, ensuring that all employees receive proper safety training, fleet training and are aware of safety policies and procedures. Travel to sites and crew bases to provide training, advisement, and safety orientation. Travel may be up to 30%. Monitor and train contractors to ensure safety practices while working on site. Coordinate training programs on tower climbing safety, lockout tagout procedures, fall protection, and other safety-related topics for new and current employees. Evaluate and review Job Descriptions for any specialized safety training. Develop training for new equipment, PPE etc. Assist Human Resources to enforce a comprehensive drug and alcohol testing program to ensure a substance-free workplace. Monitor and track the usage of personal protective equipment (PPE), including harnesses, lanyards, and other necessary gear, ensuring proper utilization, maintenance, and availability. Implement an effective PPE tracking system to ensure accurate inventory management and timely replacements when needed. Collaborate with management and employees to foster a culture of safety awareness and accountability. Collaborate with HR on the evaluation, development and implementation of a comprehensive safety program, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including required documentation regarding safety and training, worker compensation and return to work, accident investigations including auto accidents and onsite investigations. Stay up to date with the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to safety. Qualifications: Working experience in the telecommunications, utility, wind energy or other construction industry that deals with fall protection safety. Experience in developing and coordinating safety programs, training and facilitation. In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, codes, and best practices, including OSHA standards. Strong understanding of DOT driver qualification requirements and related documentation including requirements for the Clearing House. Experience in conducting hazard assessments and implementing control measures. Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and engage employees at all levels of the organization. 30-hour OSHA certification is required.     Job Description The Warehouse Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering Tech/Tower equipment to tower sites. Travel will be in CO, NE, WY, SD, KS. The Driver will also assist in site cleanup as needed throughout the states in which we operate. They may also assist with delivery or pickup of furniture/appliances from various retail and office locations. Drivers will assist warehouse crew when there are no deliveries. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Loading inventory from warehouse and deliver to tower sites via box truck or pickup. Loading and unloading materials. Operating equipment which can include box truck with donkey, dually pickup and gooseneck, semi and drop deck flat bed, excavator, skid steer, 12k telehandler, Forklift, articulating boom truck- Model A77T. Assisting in clean-up of sites, including transporting various parts and materials back to the warehouse Assisting Warehouse crew when needed by pulling material, putting away returns, and cycle counts. Willingness to be a team player with a can-do attitude that promotes a safe working environment. Keeping all delivery vehicles clean and up to date on maintenance. Mechanical experience is a plus to assist fleet with oil changes when no deliveries are needed. Any other duties as assigned by supervisor or other members of management. Qualifications include: Class A CDL is required. Must do a pre-trip and post-trip of all equipment used during the shift. Must pass a DOT Physical. Must be at least 21 years of age, have a clean driving record (MVR) and ability to pass pre-employment checks, including substance screen, MVR, and criminal background. Must be able to run and operate Telehandlers, Donkeys, and Forklifts. Must be comfortable hauling loads that are just over regular DOT limits and require an oversized load permit. Must be able to use GPS for efficiently locating sites. Basic knowledge of iPad, laptops, and cameras. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Ability to work outside in all elements; including but not limited to snow, rain, mud, wind and extreme temperatures. Ability to perform a variety of labor-intensive tasks. Knowledge of truck loading techniques and arrangement of load distribution within a truck or trailer per DOT regulation. Ability to evaluate if a site is safe to go in to with a large/heavy vehicle. Typical schedule: Ability to stay overnight at hotels if needed. (1-4 nights a week). Currently this is 1-2 nights per week. Monday through Friday, but a rare weekend delivery may occur. Ability to start early or work late as needed to meet delivery or pick up timelines, for example, starting as early as 5 am and working as late and 7 pm. Start time is 7 am when working locally or no timeline is present that would require an earlier start or late finish.
