Key Accountabilities Electrical / Electronic Maintenance and Technical Support Assemble, install, inspect, maintain, repair, modify, troubleshoot, and test electrical and electronic systems and equipment such as: motors, generators, motor control centers, switch gear, lighting circuits, A. C. and D. C. variable speed drives, solid state boards, electronic process control devices and electronic scales. Use programmable logic controller(s) to isolate faulty electrical/electronic equipment. Electrician, Maintenance Under general supervision, performs the full range of skilled, journeyman level Electrician duties in order to support the education mission of the District and to enhance the education environment. The maintenance electrician will work as part of a team to Install, inspect, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices and related systems for the school district. Ability to measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install rigid galvanized electrical conduit, using tools such as a pipe threader, conduit bender and other standard tools of the trade. Ability to interact with supervisors, staff, vendors, co-workers and the public using a positive, collaborative approach. Initiative and ability to work with minimal direction or monitoring; sound judgment and decision making capabilities are essential.
