The Maintenance Team is responsible for assisting in the administration and maintenance of Vestas tools, and equipment; conducting reporting/inspection procedures, and assisting as directed with the day-to-day Maintenance initiatives within the factory locations. The Maintenance Team is responsible for installing, inspecting, testing, repairing, adjusting, and calibrating instruments/machines responsible for the manufacturing of turbine components.
Responsibilities
Work with in repairing and maintaining production machines and the factory's equipment
Coordinate the work order process and workflow optimization.
Ensure all forms of the work order and equipment tracking are used and completed daily
Maintain EAM database of new purchased equipment, existing equipment and maintain PM schedules. Facilitate factory tool calibrations and maintains all tool calibrations requirements.
Create requisition in SAP for tools, equipment, new parts, instruments, and supplies
Allocate team appropriately to support timely execution on work orders
Development and implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance techniques
Inspect and test shop equipment and new and repaired instruments to verify dimensions of parts and for conformance to quality control standards
Track process indicators and spare parts / labor consumption and equipment performance
Be first line of communication with equipment suppliers for quotes, orders and support for troubleshooting equipment. Host suppliers on site when required in accordance with Vestas safety procedures
Provide Department Manager with equipment status reporting; including routine maintenance and damaged equipment for return to service estimations
All other duties as assigned
Education, Training, and Skills Required:
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED),
Minimum 2-3 years' experience and or equivalent training is required in Maintenance position
Strong Natural Ability to Work in Teams with ability to schedule and self-manage tasking timetables
High Degree of Adaptability & Flexibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other software programs
Comfortable speaking in front of groups teaching/leading
Ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
Knowledge of a manufacturing plant, chemical plant or refinery maintenance is preferred
Experience with repairs and maintenance of processing equipment
Reads and understands, Mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic prints and symbols.
Understand blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use of hands and fingers to handle and feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, and walk, as well as travel to other locations, some that may be remote.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

In depth knowledge of the following specialty areas:
Assemble electrical sub-assemblies, wiring harnesses, and control modules using bills of material, engineering drawings, schematics and quality standards.
Install and route electrical components in New Build, Overhaul, and associated applications.
Perform repairs or rework on non-conforming components when required.
Specialized electronic devices such as transducers, sensors, actuators, and PLCs, etc.
Conduct component, sub-assembly, and system-level installation, electrical testing, and troubleshooting.
Troubleshoot complex AC/DC electrical, electronic, and pneumatic control circuits.
Perform performance and endurance testing of electrical modules and parts.
Proactively identify design or production issues and submit Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) as needed.
Collaborate closely with engineering teams on prototype builds, obsolete part development, and design-for-manufacturing improvements.
Support the resolution of warranty and field issues by providing technical insight.
