As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within facilities. Work You'll Do: Install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment and systems. Inspect and test electrical and mechanical systems and equipment to identify any faults or issues. Repair or replace faulty components. Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and regulations. Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings and specifications. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems. Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks. Advise on potential upgrades or improvements to various systems. Perform general cleaning, upkeep, and maintenance tasks. Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations. Conduct regular preventive maintenance on various systems to minimize breakdowns and repairs. Respond to emergency situations to repair electrical faults and restore power. Additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Team Lead. Team: This role will be a part of the Mt. Orab Maintenance team reporting directly to the Maintenance Group Lead. Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 5 plus years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or equivalent combination of education and experience. Effective written and verbal communication Strong technical skills including electrical systems, troubleshooting, and repair techniques. Ability to read blueprints and schematics. Problem-solving skills, the ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail. Good understanding of safety procedures and regulations. Preferred Qualifications: Apprenticeship, vocational training, or an associate degree in electrical and/or mechanical technology. Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), preferably Asset Essentials Utilize power tools and various equipment as needed to perform responsibilities. Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations. Thorough understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. CNC experience. Other work-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Education/Experience/Background: High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) is required. Two years of work experience Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong team player. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple deadlines. Strong customer orientation. Required Certification/Licenses/Training: State Journeyman's Electrical License is required. 24-hour HAZWOPER Certification.
