Overhauls relays, circuit breakers, electric power motors and motor bearings. Replaces defective contactors, modules on electronic controls and equipment. Assists in various aspects of electrical construction and maintenance. Installs and services generating equipment, switchboards, motors, starters, lighting circuits, circuit breakers, AC and DC motor controls, and replaces or repairs wiring. Replaces malfunctioning hoists and checks battery charges on forklifts. Installs, tests and services computer cables as well as installs communication lines. Researches and recommends new replacement parts for equipment. Remains current with electrical code requirements. Completes work orders and maintains the CMMS. Follows all health and safety rules, regulations, and practices at all times, including Lockout/Tagout procedures. Maintains a clean and neat working environment. Performs other duties as required or directed.
