Job Summary:
The Industrial Maintenance Technician 1 will complete all designated or assigned maintenance or repair of production equipment and building systems of moderate to high degree of complexity, on an independent basis, and will be proficient in at least one building trade or function.
Basic Qualifications:
A minimum of a High School diploma or GED/HiSET required.

What you will do:
1. Electrical System Maintenance & troubleshooting:
Perform maintenance on electrical systems, including motors, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, encoders, and control panels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ability to fill the role of project manager for electrical projects. To include preliminary planning, sketches, and estimates for installation, repair, upgrade, and maintenance of electrical systems.
Authors, changes and owns Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for electrical systems.
Installation and repair of lighting, HVAC, single and 3 phase motors, VFD's, fire alarm and security systems.
Laying conduit in walls, temporary partitions, and other concealed areas
Interpreting and reading blueprints and electrical drawings
Assign area tasks and duties to appropriate personnel; monitor CMMS work order status assigned to personnel and daily discussions with direct reports to cover and resolve electrical related issues.
Engage outside contractors, vendors and/or suppliers as needed.
Review and approve purchase requisitions entered by direct reports.
Direct and train workers to install, Maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project closeout documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
A licensed electrician in New Hampshire must complete 8,000 hours of on-the-job apprenticeship experience and 600 hours of electrical coursework and then pass the journeyman exam. Alternatively, you can get a license by completing an associate or higher degree in an electrical program, or by having 10 years of experience as a licensed journeyman electrician in another state.
Possession of an active New Hampshire Journeyman license.
Successful completion of an electrician apprenticeship program.
Skilled at documentation in a CGMP environment.
Current on all electrical codes.
In-depth knowledge of electrical theory, principles, and all safety procedures, including OSHA guidelines.
Proficiency in using a variety of electrical testing devices and hand/power tools.
Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Job Type: Full time
Shift Schedule: 11 pm to 7 am or 10 pm to 6 am
Salary: $26 - $28 / hr plus shift differential & monthly bonus incentive

Industrial Maintenance Technician
To ensure success as a Industrial Maintenance Technician, you should have high-level problem-solving skills, extensive experience working with industrial mechanical/electrical systems, and excellent communication skills. Ultimately, a top-class maintenance technician ensures the smooth running of plant equipment and resolves issues quickly and efficiently.
Industrial Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
Routinely inspecting mechanical & electrical systems on production equipment
Identifying & responding to faults & safety hazards.
Troubleshooting equipment failures.
Conducting maintenance repairs on all equipment.
Installation of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic equipment.
Adhering to safety and performance standards.
Completing multiple Preventive Maintenance tasks as scheduled.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Requirements:
Excellent communication skills.
On call availability is a must.
Reliable transportation is a must.
High Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
High school diploma or GED.
Be willing to become familiar with all Plant equipment and processes .
Proven work experience as a maintenance tech or apprentice.
Familiarity with industrial electrical systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Good documentation skills
Familiar with Microsoft office products, i.e excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
Ability to grasp and hold objects.
Capable of climbing ladders and working at various heights on platforms or lifts.
Ability to walk for frequent extended periods, sometimes on uneven surfaces.
Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, climbing ladders and lifting.
Familiar with PLC is a plus.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Team oriented attitude.
Blue print reading is a plus.
Some weekends required.
