Primary Duties:

Aid in the education and enforcement of company policy and procedures, including site safety concerns.
Reads and interpret blueprints, plans, sketches, or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of assembly and installation of assigned products.
Work directly with local Fire Marshalls, Inspectors, and other officials in our effort to perform our work according to the rules and guidelines set forth by State and National Agencies.
Stage and select materials based on information provided by salesman and estimator, as indicated on drawings or other written instruction, or as indicated by standard industry practices to complete the task at hand.
Lay out and mark dimensions and reference lines in work area to determine actual locations of system components, as described in drawings.
Operate tools and equipment necessary to safely and efficiently complete assigned tasks.
Work directly with other Journeymen or other crew leaders to ensure continuity of work in a situation where multiple disciplines are required.
Planning Activities:
Work with apprentice to set goals for personal production based on job schedule and budget requirements.
Review specific safety events for projects. Develop and utilize JSA (Job Safety Analysis) for all work performed and on a daily basis.
Periodically reviews work plan to assure that all information, tools and materials required are present prior to beginning work.
Work with Management to develop crew schedules and determine resource requirements to maintain maximum efficiency and production for each job.
Safety Activities:

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Strive for continual improvement of student success by planning an optimal learning environment; providing high quality instruction and advising; participating in the development of learning outcomes and in the assessment of students as well as of self and applied teaching techniques in order to increase effectiveness; and engaging in ongoing professional development. Manage learning environments by ensuring that accurate syllabi are developed that incorporate college, departmental, and instructor requirements; maintaining attendance records, submitting grades, and providing constructive feedback as well as other relevant information to students throughout the semester; and conducting classes punctually and in accordance with the prescribed meeting schedule. Deliver effective instruction by assuming primary responsibility for curriculum development in conjunction with the College's policies and procedures, ensuring both rigor and the quality of instruction; by considering individual differences of students in order to design and support a range of appropriate learning activities; by using the College's digital learning solution to meet the objectives of courses; and by communicating clearly to students the expectations concerning the use of the College's digital learning solution and other available technologies. Insure all electric is installed per plan and code
Ask questions to determine severity of electrical problem
Choose an array of tools and materials according to the repair work that needs to be done

Read and interpret blueprints and cabinet details to insure correct location of electrical
Follow architectural drawings to determine installation of wiring systems
Replace faulty wires and parts and ensure that the new ones are in proper working order

Install a variety of electrical system components such as lighting, switches, circuits, panels and outlets
Identify hazards or defects in electrical systems by performing periodic inspections
Plan layout of electrical wiring and equipment keeping in mind local building codes and project specifications
Direct the work of apprentices to ensure that work orders are handled properly
