Works on live circuits from low voltage to high voltage on a daily basis. QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification; minimum of four (4) years of journey-level experience in the maintenance, repair, and installation of electronic and heavy electrical equipment, industrial electrical and electronic control systems. PREFERENCE FOR: Licensed Master Electrician (copy of License must be uploaded to online application within three [3] business days of application submittal); completion of a vocational program, Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in an electrical-related field; VFD installation/programming experience; experience using Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA)/Allen-Bradley PLC software; two (2) or more years of experience working in a water and wastewater operations environment. POSITION SUMMARY The Electrical-Mechanic Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and/or mechanical systems and equipment within the facility.
