Maintenance/Custodial/Electrician Building Maintenance: Electrician position provides electrical and HVAC services to all school department buildings, specifically identifying repair and/or replacement needs and installing and/or upgrading electrical systems. The individual(s) shall be in compliance with accessibility and safety codes/regulations. The role of KES Technician is to perform full installations of our Demand Control Kitchen Ventilation system (DCKV) in commercial kitchens. DCKV is the process of measuring the level of cooking activity in commercial kitchen hoods and modulating the speed of the associated exhaust and supply fans to be used only as needed. By adjusting these units, these commercial kitchens save a tremendous amount of energy in their electrical, heating, and cooling usage. The KES Technician is the company's direct representative and will be responsible for properly executing the installation of these systems ensuring complete system functionality at the end of the project. KES Technicians will work together in teams of two to accomplish these tasks on each jobsite. This work involves, but not limited to, the following scope of work: Installing various sensors directly to the kitchen hoods (drilling into stainless steel). Installing Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) to modulate the associated exhaust fans along with the proper power wiring (120V/1), (208V/3), (460V/3) as needed.
